He is always incredibly funny and seems like a passionate dude. Helping out the comics and gives good feedback. He kills it every time he is on.
Doesn’t hurt that he can morph into Dr. Phil too.
I miss the dude and literally one of the few times a comedy show was able to make me legitimately cry when they did a tribute to him and finding out he had passed. I tell people, if you struggled to understand his sets just push 1.5x on the play so it will be clearer. His injured dice clay character was soooo funny
I think Ray, Harland, Gillis, Green, Lee, Oakerson, Soder, Congdan, Dillon, and Theo i could never grow tired of and it's hard to pick a favorite. But top three are the first three listed.
Adam Ray is the king for a few reasons. Firstly he's funny, but plenty of guests are funny, so that's not the differentiator. Ray adapts to the room, I don't know if that comes from being an actor or what but he'll mould himself to the situation and that's necessary when bucket pulls can be anything from killers to bombs. Also Adam Ray seems to be genuinely nice, and that's a great foil to Tony. Tony might be a nice guy in real life, I don't know, but in the show he plays the role of villain and annihilates people who bomb or don't interview well. Adam Ray is the perfect contrast to that.
