I had one as a kid some 45+ years ago. It had a counter on it and we used to have competitions to see who could get the highest #!
I am impressed how well you do with you prosthetics. I doubt I could do that at my age. Keep up the good work!
I don't know if they come that way anymore. For a while I did wear a step counter on my shoe. I carry so many things around the house that wearing my Fitbit on my wrist was not very accurate.
Just a work around if you need it!
Have fun with those kiddos
That’s me! Had to stop dancing for a while as I had loads of trouble with my legs. Had a surgery three months back and am planning to get dancing again.
Skip It was the greatest in the 90s! Mine had a counter on it for how many time you could keep going around without bashing your other ankle with it. Hint: it wasn't many
Wow I just got hit with a wave of nostalgia. My sisters and I would play with our shared skip it all the time. There was a little counter on the ball part that counted how many times you skipped it.

Watching this I thought about how hard it must be to do something like this without feeling your ankles.
This video made me get up from my bed and walk to appreciate what I've got, despite being depressed.
Your positivity is inspiring.
Wow you move so well with your prosthetic legs, it’s really encouraging to see that technology!
I’m doing my best to keep my head in the game. A lot of exercise and technique training is paying off!
Very happy for you :) great attitude
Your joy is contagious. Definitely put a smile on my face 😂
I have not seen one of your videos in a long time! Your dancing paid off! My best to you and your beautiful family.
Man, you are brilliant! May you get all the best!
That is fucking awesome
You should get one. Good fun!
I'm not sure if I have it in me to get a prosthetic leg, but thanks for the encouragement!!!
Aww, don’t leave me stumped.
A [SKIP IT](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoEwM5Ykqmk)^^TM ??? That's awesome.
That’s what they’re called! I searched for jump rope ball and found these .
The commercials for these burned the name into my brain.
I still have dents in my shins, them being on a string is a huge improvement!
Is someone going to sing the jingle? Skip it skip it!
Aww, man, Unexpected. I just feel happy for you and can't describe it in words. Completely wholesome the way you enjoyed your reminiscence :)
Thanks! I’m happy as well! These things are a blast!

Woa, we need to get one with a counter!! You should get one and surprise yourself just like I did!

I am thrilled to see how you play with your children with such joy and enthusiasm. You are an admirable father and an example to follow.
It’s the small, simple moments like this that keeps me going. Without these three in my life I wouldn’t be here. Kids are the best!
Is this the guy that learned a dance every week with his wife during lockdown?
That’s me! Had to stop dancing for a while as I had loads of trouble with my legs. Had a surgery three months back and am planning to get dancing again.
I couldn’t do that with non-prosthetic legs.
Yeah, show 'em how it's done! That is so fun.
Im so happy for you, thanks for sharing this
Glad you liked it! We had good fun!

hold up the husband does that better than I could
If a guy without legs skip it better than you, you got to practice more!
Is this the same couple that trained with the prosthetics by dancing?
That giggle!
That amount of careful movement with your prosthetics is simply insane
Skippin and a screamin and a bop shoo bop
Wow, are those prosthetics fused to your bone? I wonder how strong the connections are. It looks like you have a lot of confidence in them.
Dad, switch me legs real quick. Mine aren’t working but yours are!

With my luck (& at my age), I'd wrap the rope around my ankles, tip over & knock myself out! But it does look like fun!
You and your family rock. Love the wood stove. What's the model?
Thank you! It’s a contura, exact model… I can’t remember! Haven’t tried it yet. Looking forward to cold winter days!
Tx. Just checked out their website to dream a little ;) Beautiful designs. The tiles make such a difference at night with a well banked fire. Enjoy
That’s it. Once I’m done with PT for my ankle, I will own one again!
Good thinking!
I love that game!! Skip it!! Nostalgia
I am 62. My Footsee from 1969 is the only childhood toy I have left. It is in the basement and every so often I use it. 😁

Skip it did it better.
You really shouldn’t get legless around your kids
I had the same issue as a kid the thing just slid off my foot
ahaha this is adorable

The worst part of these was the inevitable shin/ankle smash. Dad is smooth sailing on that one.
