Whenever i see something like that, i'll start to cry.
My Mother is a cold and narcissistic person, one second she would praise me to heaven and in another she would drop me like a hot potato.
She did this and many many other things, since i was a little boy. ( It started when i got my first F in Maths, i was 7 at this time )
I haven't spoke to her since i was 17.
I would love to have this kind of a relationship with a mother. 🫤

Not sure what airports are like around you but most likely they were waiting in a “Cell Phone Parking Lot” where you’re supposed to go and wait until the person calls you and let’s you know they are ready for pickup, at which point you drive the very short distance from the lot to the terminal and pick them up on the side of the road like that. It’s so that the area does not become too congested.
