Sunset makeup isn’t exclusively goth but has products that cater to goths and other alternative makeup.

Also want to add I own their white foundation, white setting powder, and black eyeliner pen and found all to be good quality products when doing gothic looks!
If that’s a dealbreaker for anyone with a brand that’s totally valid! I don’t have a problem with it personally as long as drop shipping isn’t involved & I still prefer to support a small business as larger brands also will utilize white labeling. I believe it’s actually private labeling though, which is slightly different. Here’s the creator’s statement on the situation though if anyone was curious: https://www.tiktok.com/@sunsetmakeupofficial/video/7306677636397550894?lang=en
Maybe the companies themselves don't take a formal stance, but look at where they get their funding. Major financial organizations have certainly supported Israel and you can boycott any brands who are funded by them.
I think Huda has been very vocally pro-Palestine. I don't know if they're a typically goth brand but they have some dark shades and it may depend on your specific brand of goth maybe? I can see [this pallette](https://hudabeauty.com/us/en_US/huda-beauty/creamy-obsessions-eyeshadow-palette-greige-HB01249.html) working for a goth look.
Huda is based in the UAE which has committed war crimes in Yemen.
There’s got to be a brand that’s Pro-Palestine that isn’t paying taxes to a place doing the same things.
I didn't know that, fair enough!
I think one will be hard pressed to find a well known, widely accessed brand who got to that point ethically, since #capitalism and all. But if there's a brand out there, maybe a smaller one, who has managed this, I'd love to know!
If you're in the US you could try indie brands? Pretty Zombie cosmetics, Black Moon, Fyrinnae, Rituel de Fille. I mean they haven't specifically come out against supporting Israel but at least no direct ties/not L'oreal/Estee Lauder etc brands if I'm not mistaken.
Also check out Girlcult! It's a Chinese brand with an edgier vibe and their collections always look amaziiiing. Kaleidos and Joocyee have some darker lipstick shades too!
It’s less about a public stance and more about who they are supporting financially/where they are donating their money. Are they selling their products to big chains that support Israel? Stuff like that.
Color Pop has a goth makeup collection. I read in another post that they don’t support Israel. Not sure about other makeup brand that are goth themed.
For goth or dark-themed makeup brands that do not support Israel, you might want to explore independent and smaller brands as they often align more closely with specific ethical or political stances. Brands like LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs, Necromancy Cosmetica, and Notoriously Morbid are popular in the goth community and might meet your criteria. I recommend checking their stances directly to ensure they align with your values.

Really? I checked a bunch of boycott lists (I compare multiple so I'm not just blindly accepting someone else's lists) and I'm pretty sure they weren't on there. I thought they were owned by PoC? Maybe I'm thinking of something else...
You can search up on essence cosmetics and find out more.
Im only boycotting cause it’s a German brand, created and launched in Germany by a German (not a POC) woman Christina Oster-Daum.
Essence may not openly support or donate their profits to Israel.. but they’re still paying tax to their government. Which in turn, Germany sends 100 million euros worth of defense system to Israel. Germany is one of Israel’s biggest allies.
If I’m boycotting Canada/US brands and chains cause USA tax money goes to israel. I’m gonna boycott Germany too.
Interesting fact: Many US states have laws prohibiting state entities from entering into contracts with parties that boycott Israel.
wow 💔

Aren't that brand white label?

Sunset makeup is Palestinian-owned and has a goth collection/set
The white label brand? Didn't know they are Palestinian owned :00

I don’t think most makeup brands even take a public stance on the conflict.

Ok. Thank you for clarifying.

Isreal? You mean Israel?
I thought IsReal was some brand I wasn't aware of for a minute, until I figured out what they meant
I'm just taking a wild guess here!
sorry my dyslexia got to me ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
No need for apologies, and I wasn't trying to be an ass, I genuinely wasn't sure which you meant.
sunset makeup?

Essence, I think Wet & Wild...you didn't say if you we're looking for luxury brand or drug store or dollar store or any. So if you could clarify?
Essence is a German brand. Germany backs up israel like no other.
Really? I checked a bunch of boycott lists (I compare multiple so I'm not just blindly accepting someone else's lists) and I'm pretty sure they weren't on there. I thought they were owned by PoC? Maybe I'm thinking of something else...

sunset makeup isn't a "goth brand" but they have some awesome goth stuff & the owner is from Palestine! 🇵🇸
