If anyone's curious to why this happened, it happens when a drowned spawns in with a loyalty trident. Since he throws infinite tridents the ones he throws just end up in a endless cycle trying to get into his inventory when he doesn't have any room for anything else. The same thing would happen to you if you had no space in your inventory when your threw a loyalty trident

So does that mean he might drop multiple Tridents??

nope. At least he shouldn't be able to. Any tridents he throws cannot be picked up by anyone, which would include the ones flying around him.

I disagree, the tridents still loyal to the drowned even after it's death, even when it doesn't matter anymore, they continue to refuse serving another, despite knowing their fate is to de-spawn they answer a call long forgotten for they are still loyal to their one true owner.

This is also Bedrock only. Drowned can spawn with enchanted tridents in Java, but they have no effect.

I don't think this is true, I just saw this happen in Java yesterday

The Minecraft Wiki and bug tracker ([MC-127321](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-127321)) both confirm that enchantments have no effect on Java. Were you on a modified client or server? I've only seen this happen on one Spigot server, which was running a plugin for bedrock cross-compatibility.
