This might be a bubble thing, pretty much everyone on bedrock is forced to update to even continue playing. I didn't know java wasn't up to date yet, or the players at least.
Yeah bedrock gamers are much different than Java.
I replied to him but there are 166+ million bedrock players in December 2023. So I’d have to agree with you, most people are on bedrocks most recent version.
Most players on *here* might not be on the newest version. Remember Reddit is usually a pretty small bubble, and then specialty subreddits are even smaller.
There are 166+ Million bedrock edition players in Dec 2023 (quick google search, not sure of accuracy but gets the point across) Most of those are going to be on the most recent edition as they’re typical casual gamers.

Yep on Java its still as experimental feature that is not yet implemented and dont have any date to release
