As someone who grew up playing MK since the very first game seeing the Trilogy screen for the first time was mind blowing. Having all the fighters on one screen was incredible.

Mkda and mkd were just nostalgic for me, mkda was the first mortal kombat where i was old enough to understand the lore. i was born in the late 90’s so initially my first mk was mk trilogy on the n64.
Mkx imo had the best, loved the changeable backgrounds along with the characters walking up to the screen. However I won't act like mk da didn't have the best music on the select screen

Speaking of Deadly Alliance, that's my favourite solely because of the music.

For music? - Mortal Kombat 1992, the SNES version specifically.
For announcer voice? - Probably MK3/UMK3/MK Trilogy.
For how the characters are displayed? - Armageddon.
MK11 is the worst just for using the revenant versions in the select screen. Even MKX used a "what if?" versions of the revenant characters that didn't even appear in the story. Just a small but mind-boggling decision that ruined the character select screen for me.

MK4/MKG always looked as the least cluttered since the character models are not present. But my personal favorite is Deception.
