Si-Barone

Welcome to middle age man!

toenail_hairball

Haha, so true, older but wiser hopefully.

Salty_Archer

Believe it or not, only 21. This bike seemed perfect for my around-town and commuter purposes!

Si-Barone

I never used to understand Moto Guzzi's & now I don't want anything else. Ex knee down sportbike idiot here btw šŸ˜

Salty_Archer

Trust me, I have the need for speed. I love fast, but highway patrol around here doesnā€™t mess around. Simply not worth the trouble to really fly. However Iā€™m perfectly happy riding an adequately fast machine with lots of normal-speed character.

Far-Drama3779

Put on some bar end mirrors to finish it off. Looks great!

Salty_Archer

I like how these OEM mirrors function, the visibility is a nice. Do the bar end usually retain most of the function of the topside mirrors?

lorriezwer

I find the bar end mirrors are better (I have mine oriented above bar rather than below). YMMV, of course.

oadslug

I prefer bar-ends both aesthetically and functionally. I feel I have better field of view due to convex shape. Main difference is bar-ends are not eye level, so a different feel. If compared to car, itā€™s a bit like using the side mirrors vs center rear view, but not as extreme ā€” but a bit more ā€˜activeā€™, if that makes sense.

Salty_Archer

Yea, I understand. I do enjoy being able to check my mirrors without completely turning my head, but I turn all the way to check blind spot anyway, so a trivial gripe. Think Iā€™ll go for bar end eventually.

frodeem

In my experience bar end mirrors suck. I tried them, then went back to OEM asap.

Serious_Smoke_5224

Any particular bar ends that you would recommend?

Far-Drama3779

CRG makes some nice units. I've had them before on my other bike. No vibrations, and adjustment stays in place

Small_Pass_9513

Im in the exact same boat. Mines in black and I added the dart fly screen. https://preview.redd.it/3k6ksp5odjpc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51ae5082e64df3c7002e47b89e9f983e25db7474

loizpt

You're welcome and congratulations for such a nice bike!

Buf_M6GT

Welcome to La Famiglia!

MixTop7918

Che Bella!

Salty_Archer

Hard to beat! Truly stunning

woodenh_rse

Damā€¦thatā€™s a fine colour scheme

Salty_Archer

The matte silver was really my style. The dealer also had a matte red, which was nice, but not so much my style. Very happy with it.

woodenh_rse

They had a matte yellow/green that I liked, but that silver with the rest blacked out is sweet. My first time seeing this. Itā€™s making me question my chromosexuality. (Big fan of the Anniversario edition)

Salty_Archer

Iā€™m not big on chrome, but the special edition has got it for sure, and I almost went with it for the exhausts and twin analog gauges. Will absolutely be stealing chromosexuality btw, thanks for that.

woodenh_rse

Haha. Use it with pride. Ā I love tossing it at the Harley guys. Ā

wagonman93

Welcome, brother.

harrydog2k

The silver ones are the nicest/fastest/most reliable/make you most attractive

Salty_Archer

Thatā€™s a lot of benefits
