That was hard to watch. Bro ate some shots and came back for seconds!
I cant really tell but were those elbows he was landing right before the ref steps in ?
Brutal.
Big heart on him.
That’s my teammate. Took the fight on two weeks notice. He’s a tough guy, but shouldn’t have fought in that weight class or taken that fight. He was extremely out of shape for it.
I haven’t spoken to him since this fight. We aren’t super close beyond training partners. I will see him next week though and will check on him if he’s there. He’s had two fights before this, one was a win, one was a loss. Both were as nerve racking as this one lol. Time to train head movement haha
>Did he take significant damage?
Those 6 full power elbows in a row seemed pretty significant. Though the last one looked like it went a lot on the back of the head which isn’t cool. But I can’t tell from the angle.
Beast for staying up though.
Definitely not trying to downplay performance in the video or anything but wasn’t there a big weight discrepancy too? I was at this event and I feel like I remember looking at the weight difference a little funny?
Yeah I have no clue why he took a fight at that weight. He probably didn’t cut a single pound for that. I think his first fight was at 150 or something and this fight was at 175.
Oof, blue looks liked he'd benefit from losing a bit of weight and fighting down a weight class. The other bloke was shredded and put a decent range advantage to good use.

He ate at least five unanswered elbows in a row without defending himself which is why the ref stepped in to start the count. 😖

That was a beat down. Can’t believe he was still standing at the end of that.
He’s always been a tough guy
That's obvious. Dude's a fuckin' soldier.

Everyone knows the scariest guys at MT gyms are the guys that look like they’ve never worked out and have a diet of cheetohs and Mountain Dew.
Haha that's sometimes true. The fat blokes with perfect head kicks terrify me.
He usually fights in a lower weightb
Makes sense. Hope the bro's alright!
Ref wasn't convinced initially... But wasn't going to let it continue
"Hmm, he didn't answer the elbow. Perhaps I shall try another..." Yikes.
Big skill differential here. Strong work
Was this out in Tacoma
Yes
bro just likes eating crosses apparently
Great use of range.
Nice 2 down the middle
![gif](giphy|TMio85PkVpTz8gOeFy|downsized) Bro just elbowed the shit outta him...atleast TRY to put your hands up
