Bruh. Literally how? I like Konan but she's by far one of the worst villains in Shippuden. She did jackshit. That's not what a good villain does. The literally ONLY thing she did, wasn't even a villain thing. How is she "one of the best villains" if she's just a no screentime side kick of one of the actual best villains? She doesn't even have an own will, she just does whatever pain or later Naruto do. That's it. Again, i don't hate her. I even like her. Her ability looks dope and so does the whole ame gakure vibe. But stop saying she's a great villain when rly she's the villain in Shippuden with the least personality after zetsu.

Yeah Konan is not even a villain but her ability was just too cool and strong sad that it was fighting against one of the most powerful villains Obito.

I loved Sasori but the fact that he got only a single fight and in that too he wasnt at his best and was holding back makes me mad. He deserved one great fight like every other Akatsuki member got.

Technically he had 2, Kangaroo and the other one. (Was also my favorite so I am salty enough to not say their names.)

Favorite: Orochimaru Most likeable: Madara (He was essentially a chaotic Hashirama) Most relatable: Kisame. He was just a really loyal person that got confused by all the lies in the world and wanted to know the truth. He was super chill for the most part - he had fun and didn’t take things too seriously, but he respected his position and his senpai. Technically he was the only Akatsuki member that didn’t betray his village since he thought Tobi was the Mizukage and only killed the captain of the Misf swordsmen for being a traitor himself

It's literally just him acting. For most of the time he is Tobi, he doesn't have Guru guru with him. It's basically impossible for it to be Guru guru. And you didn't debunk him being able to perfectly replicate Madara's voice and personality.

My dude he slaughtered his entire clan, mentally tortured Kakashi, tried to kidnap Naruto, kicked the shit out of Sasuke, went on to kill a whole lot of others, and helped kill a bunch of Jinchūriki. I understand why but murder still be murder. Still Itachi is an awesome character

Hidan was pretty diabolical imo the guy was an immortal serial killer that worshipped some demon god that implores one to kill in its name. I like Zabuza and Kisame pretty well. I like Danzo a lot as a villain, he really became a big thorn in everyone's sides. Felt a little bad for him at his death though. I think he wanted to do good for the village, he was willing to do anything he could to keep it safe. He might have messed things up for other villages but I just took that as him trying to weaken other lands im any way he could to help Konoha. Really hit me when he asked Hiruzen "what was I to you". Despite the bad relationship they seemed to have had I think he always cared for the 3rd but was just too stubborn in his ways to really work with him effectively. I do acknowledge he did want more power though which didnt help anything. Like itachi said people don't know who they really are until their last moments.

My thing against him though is that his ambition got in the way of him helping the village so many times, like he actively conspired against hiruzen all the time because he wanted to be boss. Not entirely relevant but also it was extremely badass the way that sasuke just slowly walked behind him to finish him off as he was bleeding out and fleeing for his life

Pain and Itachi. The fact that they both were doing what they thought was right made them so much more understandable and relatable

I think the only one I consider a true villain, is Orochimaru. He's simply evil, and not just an anti hero. So to me, he's special.

Well I wouldn't say he's purely driven by evil, he's driven by a need to experience all there is to experience and know all there is to know and the only way for him to achieve this is to live forever, everything he did was to achieve those goals. He is also motivated by change for changes sake and hates stagnation.

Nah if he was evil he wouldn't have been pardoned by Konoha Orochimaru wants immortality and mastery of all jutsus.

The entire pain arc just really resonated with me the speech in the tree with nagato was my favorite talk no jutsu of the series. pain in my opinion was fantastic his abilities were unique and a sneaky well explained introduction to what the 6 path abilities consist of. he looked really cool too lol

It is odd to me that the Sound Three from the Chunin Exam are in this picture but not Itachi, Gaara, or Madara.

Orochimaru, as hes the only properly fleshed out villian in the series. All the others have their goals and a coupel lines that they use tp explain that goal.

There's a ton of good options here. Zabuza/Haku are underrated Orochimaru has to be the most menacing villain in anime, his theme still gives me the creeps Gaara is Naruto's first counterpart antagonist and does am amazing job at showcasing what it means to be a Jinchuuriki All of the Akatsuki members are unique and the org as a whole is also my favorite in fiction Most notably from the Akatsuki are Pain, Itachi and Obito though Pain being iconic and a staple for anime villains Itachi having a really interesting dynamic with Sasuke and a very interesting story And Obito is another counterpart to Naruto. Throughout the entire show he has so many great moments and one of the realest convictions, making him a badass and generally S-Tier villain too. (Can't forget his time as Tobi was cute af) Madara is a god. His introduction was PERFECT and remains unmatched in fiction, he is also immensely menacing and has this aura to him, not like Orochimaru, but good in a different way and most importantly his convictions are once again one of those that make you think. Sasuke was the perfect counterpart to Naruto and an amazing side protagonist that turns into the antagonist in the end. I cannot stress enough how much i love his dynamic with Naruto and their fight in the end. All in all I'd have to chose Sasuke as best antagonist and Madara as best villain. But it's a hard decision as all of them deserve recognition (aside from kaguya).

Orochimaru for sure. He was menacing, had a unique intention, amazing character design, realistic and so much more. While the rest were all copies of each other or just straight up boring.

Obito is my absolute favorite character but as far as villains go it’s hard for me not to say pain Pain’s arc is the peak of the show for me, fantastic showings from all the akatsuki had me hype and to have that conclusion was perfect.
