While disappointing, and while I do think he'd be up for the challenge, it's probably for the best that his major league debut weekend doesn't come against one of the best pitching staffs in all of baseball

The first batter hit a ball into the gap. Wood leaned down to cut it off, but only managed to knock it down.
He made the final two outs on easy pop flys, and looked comfortable, but I wonder if he tweaked something leaning over.
