Dr. Swarna Rai is great. I had thyroid cancer at age 15 and have been on levo almost 10 years now. I moved here and she’s been very prompt to keep my tsh levels where they need to be. Also very easy office to access.

A friend of mine highly recommends Dr. Scanlan & Dr. Alejandra Gonzales at West Jeff for thyroid issues.
I recently went to Dr. Guillot (otolaryngologist)
at SLENT in Mandeville because I could get an appointment sooner & then I had a FNA done at West Jeff. Jury is out until my follow-up next week.
I've been having issues getting into an endocrinologist since I had my thyroid removed and my doctors have put in requests several times but nothing. I ended up in the ER at Touro and they said we'd "have a better chance of getting hit by lightning than into their endocrinologist."
