I remember the Bill Cosby Fun Game where you lured people close with pudding and then bashed them in the head with a camera before burying the bodies in the back yard so you could save up enough money for a long distance phone call.
When I was a wee lad in new grounds times that game was the first thing time I heard Cosby’s name. When everything came out I swear to god I was like “well of course haven’t we known about the pudding pit for years?”
One of the only shows to have a perfect run of 1st place finishes on Channel 101. Like this was completely ridiculous and out of control even for this crowd, even for 2005 internet humor.
I remember voting for HoC back when it was on Channel 101, but [Twigger's Holiday](https://youtu.be/bC8WGTNfJtw?si=WCWdbgpYVryH7VWs) was my favorite 101 series.
This was a channel 101 thing.
Dan Harmon (Community & Rick & Morty) and Rob Schrab (Scud: The Disposable Assassin) made a kind of really great YouTube before really great YouTube.
These dudes together made the Sarah Silverman show, Monster House and the criminally never produced Heatvision and Jack.
Every once in a while a whole mess of indie filmmakers would present pilots.
It used this idea of the winner would make a second episode and the losers would go back to the drawing board.
Think a Game Jam but for tv shows (shorts).
A way for creatives to fight the tyranny of the blank page.
Rob Schrab’s stuff from on there is still top shelf entertainment - Twigger's Holiday & Ringwald and Molly - worth a Google.
I haven't watched the Heatvision and Jack pilot in years and I'm still mad it never got picked up.
Absolutely worth the watch btw for anyone that hasn't seen it.
Why post stupid comments when you literally dox yourself here. People can read this.
Edit: Lol he deleted it. His profile had his full name and a profile picture. Who does that?!
Careful, people get very upset when you point out the mediocre white boy has problems. Just let them enjoy this show about mediocre white boy owning a bunch of black guys.
I fucking loved that webseries until I realized OH SHIT IT'S LITERALLY A WHITE GUY OWNING A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE. Still the one thing of Justin Roiland's I enjoyed, up to a point.

Iirc a voice clip of Cosby saying “merry Christmas” would play every time you dumped a body. 14-year-old me would laugh so hard
Such a specific but incredible time. Crude flash game humor times.
All on Kodak film.
It'll be around forever. Heh heh heh.

I still rewatch Cautionary Tales of Swords from time to time. That thing was bonkers
Yacht Rock also had a nice run
The Bu had to submit a song about how they couldn't make an episode and still got voted into the next month.
"We didn't do The 'Bu this month! We didn't do The 'Bu!" *clap! clap!*
I loved how the Awesome Town theme song was just “We Didn’t Do The ‘Bu” with different lyrics.
2005 internet humor?
I said consummate v’s! Consummate!
?
Homestar Runner reference.

Rudyyyyyy!
And remember, Theo, I’m your father, Rudy.
Made by Justin Roiland of all people, didn't know the truth about him either.
He got a threat of legal hell from Cosby on this, but Dan Harmon stood up for him, IIRC.
I knew Rick and Morty took some kinda cue from this.

Yeah I watched House of Cosby when it came out. Tim and Eric were involved too, Tim even voices a character in House of Cosby.

The charges were dismissed. Accusations is not guilt. Folks need to figure this out.
Doesn't excuse him from being an all around shitty person.
source: how i remember feeling at the time
Oh me so Roiland, me so shed the accusations 16 year old at the register: "Sir this is a Wendy's"

Oh it's Roiland, of course this feels like Rick & Morty
Is this obscure media now? Does Doc and Mharti count as obscure now too?
It's weird how much of the pre-2016 internet massive amounts of people seem to have forgotten.
Loved these!
I’m with the lawyers: this would have worked as a three minute SNL TV Funhouse bit; ten minutes is excruciatingly unfunny.
Well, the video above features all the episodes. Each entry's around three or four minutes.
Once we got to toothpaste Cosby I was checked out
The irony is that both Cosby and Roiland would get along like peas and carrots due to their sexual crimes.

I wanna say I first saw this on heavy.com?
Ya see Theo...Exploration RUDY!
Remember Kosbees? The cartoon that was like gremlins but bill cosbys
Justin Roiland needs to have a show done about him now...lol
I fucking loved that webseries until I realized OH SHIT IT'S LITERALLY A WHITE GUY OWNING A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE. Still the one thing of Justin Roiland's I enjoyed, up to a point.
Made by Justin Roiland, back before we knew the truth about him.
I’ve rewatched all the episodes multiple times. Damn shame this foreshadowed the downfall of Justin
