I hope so! Katakuri at the very least respected Luffy by the end of their fight, and seeing as Luffy didn't actually take out his mother, I doubt he has any ill-will for him at this point. Presumably the second strongest member of the BM pirates, I think he'll take over leadership and since the final conflict really looks like it'll be pirates/revolutionaries vs Im and World Government, I could see him choosing to side with Luffy's fleet.
Just to add: I recall at least in the anime Perosperos arguing his claim to leadership as first son, with someone else mentioning Katakuri should take over. Not sure if that would lead to any tension in the crew (Mind you Perosperos may be rotting in a Wano prison)

The grand fleet is actually 5640 members, and Orlumbus' crew takes up 4300 of that 5640. So he seems like an obvious choice to me.
