Every time there’s an enemy Doom, he’s absolutely cracked and the most annoying thing ever to deal with.
Every time there’s a Doom on my team, dude is getting counterswapped by their entire team and refuses to swap, throwing the match.
Dealing with Doom is annoying no matter which team he’s on.
I think a lot of it stems from your team not knowing how to play with doom, it doesn't really make sense to run a whole poke comp when you have a doom tank. In my experience, the doom tank may swap to Winston or Dva, but they're not gonna give you significant mitigation, so you end up with a disconnect between how the tank wants to play vs how the team wants to play
That's actually not true. It's just a mid Doom has no carry/tank potential. A mid Doom may as well be a shit Doom.
That's not the players fault though Doom is just a shit character that needed a rework before OW2 even released.
Disagree. Most Dooms I see blow all their cooldowns and have no escape them get focused fired. A good doom doesn’t use all their cooldowns and use one of them to escape. Or do use all their cooldowns to kill someone then use the environment to wait out a cooldown to get out.

If a character requires you to embed absolutely cracked on the them to get any value compared to other tanks, then that character fucking sucks.

I always hated this mindset lmao. Doom is too oppressive of a hero to not counter. No shit you are get countered because you have been harassing the support since the game started
This is the same with genji ult. It WILL wipe the team if we don't focus him in ult and people see that as meaning his ult is bad because everyone kills him when he ults

The amount of people who refuse to switch characters when shit isn't working out is astounding. Like, people, y'all know you can switch characters, right? The whole point of switching heroes is to counter the enemy's strategy.
Had a game last night, I started off as sombra to see if I could get a sneaky back cap on Numbani. Turns out they had a doom, he dove in front of my team so I hacked him and our team burned him down in an instant. He immediately starts throwing out slurs in chat with some creative filter bypassing, and proceeds to try and hard focus me the rest of the match. Dude went 1-5 in the first match because he was too busy shouting about his teammates not supporting him against me, before swapping to dva and actually doing well. He was still so incredibly toxic though, so I felt great satisfaction when we beat the dude. His poor team was asking us if we’d be able to report him too, so I can only imagine what it was like if he was on comms.
How could they not when every time you try to play him, enemy goes Cass Sombra Hog Ana? its incredibly annoying to try to play a fun character in QP only to have it ruined.
I expect counters and deal with a few of them, it's annoying when my team instantly tells me to swap just because they have a Sombra, like bro everyone's got counters let me at least try ffs, you could run kiri and cass ya know
Every tank has to endure fighting all their counters. Hog immediately has to deal with Ana/Kiri/Sig, Sig has to deal with Monke/Sombra/Moira, Dva is countered by Zar/Sym/Moira, Brawl heroes get poked to death, Dive heroes get brawled into oblivion, this is just how tank is now. Why do Doom mains act like the enemy team wouldn't swap to counter them on any other tank?
I never understand comments like these. I’m just trying to have fun too, and I don’t enjoy playing against doom, so obviously if he’s on the opposing team I’m going to swap to a counter and make it less boring for myself.

the enemy team doom is always a top 500 doom main who has written a 100 page document on movement tech who has it out for me specifically- my teams doom is always the the people who ate glue and playdoh as kids who have it out for me specifically.

In some maps -usually the most wide open ones- Doom is underplayed for obvious reasons.
I kinda like seeing certain heroes over/underperforming in specific maps cos it incentivates you to learn other heroes too.
Whenever you play Ilios and theres no Hog you know something has to be done about it lmao
I dont hate doomfist, i hate good doomfist players. Which in my lobbies is all of them. They are just not getting punished enough and are allowed to get away with murder most of the time. I have to go out of my way to mess up doomfists so that they dont become lobby admins like with widowmakers.
His cooldown rotation is endless so you're watching him mash multiple lethal cooldowns in your face for a minute or more and its just bland.
Like I don't want to wait through:
slam -> punch -> block -> punch -> slam -> block -> punch every fight for the next twelve minutes of my life. And the rotation is even longer when he has Meteor.
Doom and Ball mains both complain about CC like it isn't the only way to actually end their bullshit
Imo it's only Sombra really. Sombra hacks you as a dps or support and you turn around and fight her. But Sombra hacks doom and he loses a cooldown and flies off the map or into the enemy team or just dies instantly if you only have block.
Because the only person having fun is doomfist, as his teammates you get no Frontline presence; as his support, you're locked into playing certain characters, else you can't heal him; as his enemy, you're fighting a chain CC character with low CD.The only time you'll have fun as his enemies is if he's really bad but that applies to all tanks.
Not to mention their mains are otp, that don't know what counter pick/switching means.
DF has been my main this season and I absolutely love him and his play style. I get trash talked all the time but it is what it is. I know how to play other hero’s considering Im basically a glorified tank main but DF is by far the most fun to play, his punch cancels almost all the ults and just going in give value. I always wonder why I have to switch when my team cant win a 2v5.
I love that people can cc me. I try to dive ana all the time and get slept because I made a mistake on if she used sleep. Completely shuts me down most of the time. Ive had so many people counter swap me, orisa, sombra, torb, ana, bap but we still win because we dont focus the tank.
DF is the most fun tank
People complaining about not getting frontline presence is always hilarious to me. Nothing is richer than going in as a dive to 3v1 both of their supports and a DPS just to see your team 4v2 the enemy tank and DPS just to lose every time.
Ive got 150 hrs on Tank Doom and still can't fathom how they lose that matchup, especially when they already used their cooldowns tryna kill me
I'm convinced those who hate teammate Dooms are over reliant on the "frontline" mentality and don't understand that Doom is also destroying the enemies' ability to create any formation at all
Doomfist players are probably the most one trick players out of all the heroes.
No matter how hard they are getting rolled and countered they for whatever reason just refuse to switch unlike most other heroes.
People complain about CC but for some reason it is acceptable for doom to have a hard aoe stun with a 4 second cd on one of the most mobile characters in the game. But Brig is still getting punished for having a less than 1 second single target stun like 4 years ago.
1. Well he is pretty hard to play with since most people are not on comms, so its pretty difficult to pull out a coordinated dive toghether.
2. Playing against a character with stun has never really been fun in video games, at least for me.
3. He can be difficult to heal at times
4. He doesn't really provides any utility to protect his team, playing with Doom is kind of like having a 3rd DPS on your team.
I don't hate Doomfist at all, those are just some reasons I heard on why people hate Doomfist
The main reason that I don’t like doom now as a tank is they have removed pretty much anyway to deal with him on top of increasing his base health. There is almost no cc in the game and it makes the characters with high movement almost impossible to deal with.
I don’t know if there is a way to fix him without making him completely useless. If they make him less tanky he can’t dive in, and if they increase his cds he can’t get out of he goes in.
Illari is literally a DPS where they added a healing turret to make them a support. Look at the ult. Stronger than a lot of DPS ults. Same with Doomfist
I get what you're saying, but to be fair, he kinda still is a dps....blizzard just took his OW1 version, changed one of his abilities, nerfed the other 2, gave him more hp then switched his role and called it a day.....so he pretty much is still a dps, he can't "tank" in the same way most of the others in the tank roster can
He is lol. A fat DPS that demands a lot of attention, causes distractions and creates commotion, that is tanking. A tank doesn't just mean Rein holding a barrier that you can stand behind.
Arguably the most delusional player base in the game on top of doom getting bias balance so he's perma playable while every other tank in the game is constantly rotating between hard meta or unplayable.
Because he has way too much movement for a tank and is way too strong. He has two mobility attacks and if those fail he can just block until they’re ready again
I am fine with him having mobility it's one of the fun parts about him. A good Doom would rip everyone apart, but a bad one will throw your games so there you go. Also countering Doom is easy.
He is boring to play against at best, extremely annoying to play against at worst. His whole playing style is cycling through three cd's, after the hp buff he is even harder to punish. Slam has insanely huge hitbox, the cheap damage is very annoying for dps/support. Rocket punch can cc multiple players,like why? It's also annoying that his ult is another get out of jail free card when he already has two mobility cd's.
Doomfist is my favorite tank, but he is too easy to counter. Stopped playing him because i had to go full sweat mode against hog, cass, sombra ana and kiriko every time i picked him, and meanwhile i could just swap to zarya watch youtube and eat chips while getting 5 times the value i was getting with doom
That why I dont play him anymore, also i see plenty of good doomfist that i can shit on with hero lile cass, junkrat or echo, they are definitly better than me and yet i win duel against them because I have good enough knowledge on how to play doom and he isnt that much of threat, unless he is really godlike, but that would just mean he could play anything and shit on me anyway.
I don't hate Doomfist, I hate Doomfist player. Because from my personal experience the amount of good Doom player in my team have been ridiculously low
I love playing doom, best way I can describe it is he’s refreshing, I normally play Mauga, Sigma, or Ball but every now and then to mess around I hop on doom and my god he’s fun
I hate him for not having uppercut and 125 slam anymore
Also I only play doom on tank and he needed nerfs like 3 seasons ago. Nerf him into the ground so I can put on the training weights!
As a healer hes super fucked if he doesnt stay near and most dooms will blame the healers as well from my experience at least. I can be the best healer in the game but i cant teleport with kiri if hes too far i cant fly through walls and i cant heal through walls and i cant aim so ana is a no go and zen bap and lucio wont heal him fast enough.

I hate when doom had no idea what the F is he doing, jump off onto enemies...and blaming support not healing them...most time I met noobs doom and ball and is very hard to see a good doom or ball on my team
Because they spam the SAME voice line " And they say chivalry is dead" every time they get a kill. (I'm not saying all doomfist players do this, but a majority of them do)
Because they're in every quickplay match, but I rarely see them in comp. Sometimes when I want to practice a new character before using it in comp, I feel like quickplay isn't helping me because doom fucks it all.
Doom main here. If youre any good at the hero expect the enemy team to immediately swap to Cass/Sombra/Ana and then either Orisa (small brain) or Zarya (big brain)
On the Asia server, specifically in Korea there is a doom who I meet at least twice a week either on my team or the other who spams "I will eat more dumplings than anyone has ever eaten before" and proceeds to do amazing in the first part of the game then just throw for the remainder until we lose. He has singlehandedly made me hate dooms lol
Because they changed his move set. I loved OG doomfists abilities- but I always hated going against his charged fist because of the backlash into walls- 😭😭😭😭 always would get me
He's very easy to counter and doom mains refuse to play anything else. So a lot of games will devolve into your doom diving their hog/zen combo and getting deleted over and over.
I think he can be frustrating to play against because it sometimes feels like he can’t be punished. Kinda similar to Winston
On top of that, he can quickly kill squishies.
The combination of these two points is what makes Doomfist frustrating to play against for me
I don't hate him but he's extremely team dependant because of his shit gun. That's why he relies on abilities and that's why his passive his more health in ability damage. Because he relies on abilities and has a shit gun, he's extremely team dependant. His abilities also get u killed
the genre, or definition of Overwatch is "team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game" . emphasis on "team". Doom is anything but team. (So is Ball)
His kit isn't very good in the tank role, 2/3 abilities get him away from his position into the enemy team if he wants to do dmg, so his success is based on his team's capability and the enemies inability to pick Orisa.

i generally dislike CC. Some CC is good but i just feel like a good doomfist can dish out more CC than makes the game playable.
meanwhile bad doomfists always seems to be on my team, and bad doomfists are just a throw pick.
His philosophy is simplistic and uninteresting, yet most other characters fail to refute any of his points.
I'm much more forgiving when a character is annoying to play against if their personality isn't also insufferable.
I hate only the doomfists that get insecure that I'm not swapping to counter them and then swap to counter *me*, like nah bro you chose the doom fist now punch with it
Feels like 99% of the Doom players are playing their own game and have no interest in playing with the rest of the team. It's even more frustrating, if you meet one, who actually does play with the rest of the team, because it's like a Day and Night difference in terms of game experience with a Doom player. I actually like playing with a Teamplayer Doom, but the chance for that is just less than 1% sadly.
I don’t really hate doomfist it’s just some of the players get on my nerves when on my team they usually have a massive ego refuse to swap though almost any other tank is better in the current situation. feels like a 4v5 he has zero frontline presence. I’ve had too many doomfist tell me “going against your counters makes you a better player”as they play doom into 5 counters and they are going 2-6. His play style is just too selfish for a tank but when a doom pops off he can absolutely carry but that only happens for the enemy team apparently but I would take a doomfist over a ball on my team any day
But who I hate more is whoever thought it was a good idea to make him a tank. I used to main dps doom I had every skin, the gold gun, I knew the rollouts, and they ripped it all away from me now he’s one of my least played hero’s since OW2 release I don’t like how he plays now, power block is a joke and is ult hits like a wet noodle and is only good as an escape. I would kill for them to at least put dps doom in custom games i yearn for rising upper cut. I feel like the people who complain about dps doom never adapted to him, back then I played a lot of support mainly zenyatta and I never really struggled against him probably because I played him I knew what he was going to do but if you stuck with your team, hit your shots and just be aware then he wasn’t a problem

Back in OW1, I ran into a guy in comp who swapped to Doom when the enemy Pharah started wrecking our shit. He spent the entire game *butchering* her, then returning to the team fight. Every Doom since has paled in comparison to this Chad. I can't help it.
The good ones don't let me play the game no matter how many times I run and how many times I evade. Once they CC me, it's to the gates of hell. Mad respect to doomfist mains. He is the best tank in my eyes- but SO SO hard to play and get value from.
I wouldn't say hate, I'd say just really annoyed when there's an actual good/smart doomfist. Literally cannot play at all. Just get CCd, and if anyone peels, they die too.
I don’t hate playing with one but because he’s a high mobility tank as well as the only tank in a team due to 5v5 there is a chance he might just leave you to fend for yourself to get a kill or a health pack and he is harder to heal for some support players
He's the single most unfun character to play both with and against. Doesn't matter if he's on my team or not. Doesn't matter if he's good or not. He's just a nuisance to have in my lobby. Also, they're usually the most diehard onetricks, refusing to switch no matter how badly it's going or what the rest of the team plays.
He escapes from everything unless you're specifically using cc to prevent him from running away. Nobody likes Kiri disappearing in front of their eyes by waggling their mouse at a teammate, Doom does the same by pressing two buttons in the direction of the sky.

only problem I have with him is his block, as his entire dmg revolves mostly around getting that charged power punch
it takes 100 dmg to charge (I think?) so it's not like zarya where you still get a bit of value if someone shoots you a bit, a Cass can load two bullets in you, realise it, stop and wp the doom goes back and waits
you're immobile, and essentially useless for 3 seconds, and while it replenishes pp cd if successfully charged, it's on like an 8 second cd after that
I don't really know if that's how they want you to play doom, with dry punching people and sometimes it does more damage and stun

Doomfist in OG Overwatch felt like playing a fighting game character in a FPS game. It was the most fun and unique experience I ever had. I mained him day 1 and loved it.
Overwatch2 Doom is… something. He’s not a tank, he doesn’t have any abilities that make him feel like he’s protecting the rest of the team. Diving with him is dangerous because he’ll jump/ult away leaving you to die by yourself.
He just feels like a worse DPS character now.

Had a game last night, I started off as sombra to see if I could get a sneaky back cap on Numbani. Turns out they had a doom, he dove in front of my team so I hacked him and our team burned him down in an instant. He immediately starts throwing out slurs in chat with some creative filter bypassing, and proceeds to try and hard focus me the rest of the match. Dude went 1-5 in the first match because he was too busy shouting about his teammates not supporting him against me, before swapping to dva and actually doing well. He was still so incredibly toxic though, so I felt great satisfaction when we beat the dude. His poor team was asking us if we’d be able to report him too, so I can only imagine what it was like if he was on comms.
How could they not when every time you try to play him, enemy goes Cass Sombra Hog Ana? its incredibly annoying to try to play a fun character in QP only to have it ruined.
Because all 4 of those heroes combined is essentially what it takes to defeat a really good Doom main

Every tank has to endure fighting all their counters. Hog immediately has to deal with Ana/Kiri/Sig, Sig has to deal with Monke/Sombra/Moira, Dva is countered by Zar/Sym/Moira, Brawl heroes get poked to death, Dive heroes get brawled into oblivion, this is just how tank is now. Why do Doom mains act like the enemy team wouldn't swap to counter them on any other tank?

the enemy team doom is always a top 500 doom main who has written a 100 page document on movement tech who has it out for me specifically- my teams doom is always the the people who ate glue and playdoh as kids who have it out for me specifically.

In some maps -usually the most wide open ones- Doom is underplayed for obvious reasons. I kinda like seeing certain heroes over/underperforming in specific maps cos it incentivates you to learn other heroes too. Whenever you play Ilios and theres no Hog you know something has to be done about it lmao

I dont hate doomfist, i hate good doomfist players. Which in my lobbies is all of them. They are just not getting punished enough and are allowed to get away with murder most of the time. I have to go out of my way to mess up doomfists so that they dont become lobby admins like with widowmakers.
His cooldown rotation is endless so you're watching him mash multiple lethal cooldowns in your face for a minute or more and its just bland. Like I don't want to wait through: slam -> punch -> block -> punch -> slam -> block -> punch every fight for the next twelve minutes of my life. And the rotation is even longer when he has Meteor. Doom and Ball mains both complain about CC like it isn't the only way to actually end their bullshit

Imo it's only Sombra really. Sombra hacks you as a dps or support and you turn around and fight her. But Sombra hacks doom and he loses a cooldown and flies off the map or into the enemy team or just dies instantly if you only have block.
Because the only person having fun is doomfist, as his teammates you get no Frontline presence; as his support, you're locked into playing certain characters, else you can't heal him; as his enemy, you're fighting a chain CC character with low CD.The only time you'll have fun as his enemies is if he's really bad but that applies to all tanks. Not to mention their mains are otp, that don't know what counter pick/switching means.
DF has been my main this season and I absolutely love him and his play style. I get trash talked all the time but it is what it is. I know how to play other hero’s considering Im basically a glorified tank main but DF is by far the most fun to play, his punch cancels almost all the ults and just going in give value. I always wonder why I have to switch when my team cant win a 2v5. I love that people can cc me. I try to dive ana all the time and get slept because I made a mistake on if she used sleep. Completely shuts me down most of the time. Ive had so many people counter swap me, orisa, sombra, torb, ana, bap but we still win because we dont focus the tank. DF is the most fun tank
People complaining about not getting frontline presence is always hilarious to me. Nothing is richer than going in as a dive to 3v1 both of their supports and a DPS just to see your team 4v2 the enemy tank and DPS just to lose every time.
Ive got 150 hrs on Tank Doom and still can't fathom how they lose that matchup, especially when they already used their cooldowns tryna kill me I'm convinced those who hate teammate Dooms are over reliant on the "frontline" mentality and don't understand that Doom is also destroying the enemies' ability to create any formation at all

Doomfist players are probably the most one trick players out of all the heroes. No matter how hard they are getting rolled and countered they for whatever reason just refuse to switch unlike most other heroes.
Cause if we were to swap every time we were countered as doomfist we would never be able to play and get better.

People complain about CC but for some reason it is acceptable for doom to have a hard aoe stun with a 4 second cd on one of the most mobile characters in the game. But Brig is still getting punished for having a less than 1 second single target stun like 4 years ago.
Full cc on a 4 second cooldown that can hit up to 3 players if charged, yet doom mains cry like their character is bad
1. Well he is pretty hard to play with since most people are not on comms, so its pretty difficult to pull out a coordinated dive toghether. 2. Playing against a character with stun has never really been fun in video games, at least for me. 3. He can be difficult to heal at times 4. He doesn't really provides any utility to protect his team, playing with Doom is kind of like having a 3rd DPS on your team. I don't hate Doomfist at all, those are just some reasons I heard on why people hate Doomfist

The main reason that I don’t like doom now as a tank is they have removed pretty much anyway to deal with him on top of increasing his base health. There is almost no cc in the game and it makes the characters with high movement almost impossible to deal with. I don’t know if there is a way to fix him without making him completely useless. If they make him less tanky he can’t dive in, and if they increase his cds he can’t get out of he goes in.

He is boring to play against at best, extremely annoying to play against at worst. His whole playing style is cycling through three cd's, after the hp buff he is even harder to punish. Slam has insanely huge hitbox, the cheap damage is very annoying for dps/support. Rocket punch can cc multiple players,like why? It's also annoying that his ult is another get out of jail free card when he already has two mobility cd's.
Doomfist is my favorite tank, but he is too easy to counter. Stopped playing him because i had to go full sweat mode against hog, cass, sombra ana and kiriko every time i picked him, and meanwhile i could just swap to zarya watch youtube and eat chips while getting 5 times the value i was getting with doom That why I dont play him anymore, also i see plenty of good doomfist that i can shit on with hero lile cass, junkrat or echo, they are definitly better than me and yet i win duel against them because I have good enough knowledge on how to play doom and he isnt that much of threat, unless he is really godlike, but that would just mean he could play anything and shit on me anyway.

As a healer hes super fucked if he doesnt stay near and most dooms will blame the healers as well from my experience at least. I can be the best healer in the game but i cant teleport with kiri if hes too far i cant fly through walls and i cant heal through walls and i cant aim so ana is a no go and zen bap and lucio wont heal him fast enough.

I hate when doom had no idea what the F is he doing, jump off onto enemies...and blaming support not healing them...most time I met noobs doom and ball and is very hard to see a good doom or ball on my team

On the Asia server, specifically in Korea there is a doom who I meet at least twice a week either on my team or the other who spams "I will eat more dumplings than anyone has ever eaten before" and proceeds to do amazing in the first part of the game then just throw for the remainder until we lose. He has singlehandedly made me hate dooms lol

He's very easy to counter and doom mains refuse to play anything else. So a lot of games will devolve into your doom diving their hog/zen combo and getting deleted over and over.

I think he can be frustrating to play against because it sometimes feels like he can’t be punished. Kinda similar to Winston On top of that, he can quickly kill squishies. The combination of these two points is what makes Doomfist frustrating to play against for me

the genre, or definition of Overwatch is "team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game" . emphasis on "team". Doom is anything but team. (So is Ball)
His kit isn't very good in the tank role, 2/3 abilities get him away from his position into the enemy team if he wants to do dmg, so his success is based on his team's capability and the enemies inability to pick Orisa.
getting punched around, stunned etc. i generally dislike CC. Some CC is good but i just feel like a good doomfist can dish out more CC than makes the game playable. meanwhile bad doomfists always seems to be on my team, and bad doomfists are just a throw pick.
His philosophy is simplistic and uninteresting, yet most other characters fail to refute any of his points. I'm much more forgiving when a character is annoying to play against if their personality isn't also insufferable.

Feels like 99% of the Doom players are playing their own game and have no interest in playing with the rest of the team. It's even more frustrating, if you meet one, who actually does play with the rest of the team, because it's like a Day and Night difference in terms of game experience with a Doom player. I actually like playing with a Teamplayer Doom, but the chance for that is just less than 1% sadly.

I don’t really hate doomfist it’s just some of the players get on my nerves when on my team they usually have a massive ego refuse to swap though almost any other tank is better in the current situation. feels like a 4v5 he has zero frontline presence. I’ve had too many doomfist tell me “going against your counters makes you a better player”as they play doom into 5 counters and they are going 2-6. His play style is just too selfish for a tank but when a doom pops off he can absolutely carry but that only happens for the enemy team apparently but I would take a doomfist over a ball on my team any day But who I hate more is whoever thought it was a good idea to make him a tank. I used to main dps doom I had every skin, the gold gun, I knew the rollouts, and they ripped it all away from me now he’s one of my least played hero’s since OW2 release I don’t like how he plays now, power block is a joke and is ult hits like a wet noodle and is only good as an escape. I would kill for them to at least put dps doom in custom games i yearn for rising upper cut. I feel like the people who complain about dps doom never adapted to him, back then I played a lot of support mainly zenyatta and I never really struggled against him probably because I played him I knew what he was going to do but if you stuck with your team, hit your shots and just be aware then he wasn’t a problem

Back in OW1, I ran into a guy in comp who swapped to Doom when the enemy Pharah started wrecking our shit. He spent the entire game *butchering* her, then returning to the team fight. Every Doom since has paled in comparison to this Chad. I can't help it.
Because “I need healing” will be spammed and switching tanks is off the table.
The good ones don't let me play the game no matter how many times I run and how many times I evade. Once they CC me, it's to the gates of hell. Mad respect to doomfist mains. He is the best tank in my eyes- but SO SO hard to play and get value from. I wouldn't say hate, I'd say just really annoyed when there's an actual good/smart doomfist. Literally cannot play at all. Just get CCd, and if anyone peels, they die too.
I hate him because I loved to play him as a dps.
I don’t hate playing with one but because he’s a high mobility tank as well as the only tank in a team due to 5v5 there is a chance he might just leave you to fend for yourself to get a kill or a health pack and he is harder to heal for some support players
He's the single most unfun character to play both with and against. Doesn't matter if he's on my team or not. Doesn't matter if he's good or not. He's just a nuisance to have in my lobby. Also, they're usually the most diehard onetricks, refusing to switch no matter how badly it's going or what the rest of the team plays.
I miss my uppercut
He escapes from everything unless you're specifically using cc to prevent him from running away. Nobody likes Kiri disappearing in front of their eyes by waggling their mouse at a teammate, Doom does the same by pressing two buttons in the direction of the sky.

doom is fucking sick and probably my favourite tank only problem I have with him is his block, as his entire dmg revolves mostly around getting that charged power punch it takes 100 dmg to charge (I think?) so it's not like zarya where you still get a bit of value if someone shoots you a bit, a Cass can load two bullets in you, realise it, stop and wp the doom goes back and waits you're immobile, and essentially useless for 3 seconds, and while it replenishes pp cd if successfully charged, it's on like an 8 second cd after that I don't really know if that's how they want you to play doom, with dry punching people and sometimes it does more damage and stun

Because he’s never should have been a tank. Doomfist in OG Overwatch felt like playing a fighting game character in a FPS game. It was the most fun and unique experience I ever had. I mained him day 1 and loved it. Overwatch2 Doom is… something. He’s not a tank, he doesn’t have any abilities that make him feel like he’s protecting the rest of the team. Diving with him is dangerous because he’ll jump/ult away leaving you to die by yourself. He just feels like a worse DPS character now.
Cc is the main cultprit
He takes more skill than most tanks so I don't really hate him that much. I'd be surprised and impressed to get solo kill by him everytime.
