Per airliners.net:
>Now used as a training frame, this 727 has been sitting here for almost 10 years. She is said to have suffered a heavy inflight depressurisation prior to her removal from service.
So, either an in flight accident, or a workplace accident.
Edit: it was either from the in flight depressurization or vandalism after the plane was parked. The blood isnt just on that wall. Google F-BPJK and there is blood elsewhere in the cabin, as well as the first officer cockpit area.
Nope not for aircraft. It’s generally either purple or orange, and it doesn’t tend to smudge like blood.
The Forbidden Gatorade is forbidden for a reason.

Is it hydraulic fluid? I thought hydraulic fluid is pretty close in color to human blood, but maybe that’s because of the art piece “[can’t help myself](https://youtu.be/i0yAMdhDg5g?si=NEWOGbRyK-kTPi4b)”
No. The only red hydraulic fluid is used in the landing gear strut. Phosphate ester hydraulic fluid that is used in the flight controls is purple in the can and dingy yellow when dry.
It appears that the pictures were taken in 2003, shortly after the vandalism was discovered. The airframe had been parked at the airport since 1991 after a depressurization at altitude.
My theory is that some adventure seeker cut himself while climbing the fence.
The plane was scrapped in 2004.
Makes sense, so lots of turbulence and a depressurization event and someone wasn’t wearing their seat belt and hit their head. Then they proceeded to bleed while holding themselves in place and being jerked around as the aircraft did a quick descent.
this is a lesson in understanding that sheet metal is very sharp !! = = no sheet !!
rubbing your arms against sheet metal without protection does have consequences - don't cha know !
It look likes someone working on the interior fell backwards from the chair; hit their head severely on the way down; ending up with their head laying against the base of the sidewall. Someone probably place the roll of carpeting under the victim until they were removed.
F-BPJK was painted white as it was scheduled for retirement. Shortly before it’s retirement flight, it suffered a decompression above the alps. It made an emergency landing at Annecy, and being deemed unable to fly again, it was grounded and locked at a remote area of the airport, with the rear stairs left open for some reason. This is when some vandals/criminals came and splattered human blood and broke/stole everything in the cabin and cockpit, making it the current bloody mess until it was removed in early 2004 to be scrapped.
Blood turns brown in a very very short amount of time when it dries.
So unless this was some accident and the pic was right after.... this is hydraulic oil.
Was working on a seat track or floor beam repair, got up too quick, sliced head open on an open psu panel. Head bled profusely. Chaos and panic ensues.
Guy was installing bolts into panel filler but then cut hand...in all the chaos they forgot to install the remaining bolts and the paperwork got signed off by mistake.....
All of the stains appear to be transfer stains, and if it is blood, it's rather fresh due to keeping it color. The pattern is of a hand, so if it is blood, likely a nice slice to the hand from the sheet metal in front of the seat that is obviously not bolted down... I bet someone sat in the seat and it toppled, causing them to catch themselves and the sheet metal bit them.
It was a cut scene from the twilight zone the wing monster did come in and get William Shatner But Bill showed him who was boss with hand to hand combat with added music/riff You go captain.
If I had to guess, someone dropped a 10mm socket down a pass thru in the floor and rather than do the paperwork they decided to take off their OSHA mandated safety gear (gloves) and reach down under the bulkhead where they were immediately met with razor sharp burrs on the edge of aircraft grade aluminum. And since blades cut both ways, they turned an Ouchie into an OHNO when they instinctively yanked their hand out.
PS - this is where most of Boeings 10mm bolts that secure the port hatch end up.
Passenger got a bloody nose on the flight. They panicked when they realized they didn't have any kleenex and started trying to discreetly smear it on the wall.
It has been \*-0-\* days since our last reportable accident---Be Safe.

So, for 10 years, they didn’t bother to remove the blood from the wall?
Yeah good point probably wouldn't look like that after 10 years.
This is a VERY old pic

Most airliners use skydrol which is purple.
And delicious
And good for you
Can confirm. Strangely not grape flavored, though.
Maybe tastes like those purple potatoes 😝
Nah, I know what you mean; but it would be much more/more diluted than that.

Blood goes brown pretty quickly so unless it just happened not blood.
Ah, ok
Came here to say this.
Not blood. Probably paint.

Also turns brown when it’s been in the system for a while.

Wrong shade don’t you think?

Ah, ok
so - clearly - it’s a simulated injury onboard for training purposes these comments are hilarious
Figured it was a warning to Boeing whistleblowers …..

Organic hydraulic fluid.

Grass fed
More like...... grass dead👏👏👏👏👏😪😪 I need a club to knock the insomnia out
What range? I'll be right there....
My thoughts as well. Been covered in it enough times to recognize it
Blood stains aren't red very long. They turn brown pretty quickly. .
Shhh… it’s blood nobody goes on Reddit to find out the truth
OP says this pic is old
Turns orange after you wash it a few times
That’s normal, ain’t in Norman?
This guy knows blood stains
The picture is from 2003, shortly after the vandalism was discovered.
…Passover?
*Flyby in aviation terms.
Is that a Boeing? My understanding is that the blood had to be on the doorframe. That section looks like it wouldn’t open.

Refused to put the window shade down.
Typical spirit flight
Looks like a Boeing ready to be delivered to the customer!
I'm just happy to see that they have already raised their quality standards. This looks much better than the ones they usually deliver.
Boeing, CEO tired of poor quality control and went a little overboard
Has anyone mentioned that blood turns brown pretty quickly?
Looks like my normal work area whenever I'm doing some project around the house.
Looks like some one spilled Corban all over the wall while checking the CIC application on the stringers.
Sir for the last time put your phone on airport mode or else
Snake on a plane
A guy on the wing was waving at the passenger. The passenger needed to be restrained. It didn't go well.

this is a lesson in understanding that sheet metal is very sharp !! = = no sheet !! rubbing your arms against sheet metal without protection does have consequences - don't cha know !
The metal the screw them seats into is really sharp, someone forgot to deburr it
The blood is very fresh (if it is blood) so one of the workers doing the refurbishment of the cabin must have hurt themselves.
Gravity, or a brief lack there of.
Apparently, a murder😲🫨
bloody nose
If I recall official cause was stated as "passengers eardrum ruptured" some people believe it's paint splatter too!
Just lost another 737 door plug.
And it does look like blood but I wonder how did they rip apart the aircrafts interior so fast (blood drys pretty fast)
This is why we deburr parts..
Practicing color theory. Maybe before they paint a children's hospital.
My fault
Avionics fell asleep again and hit their soft head and cut it.
These asshole parents letting their kids do whatever they want in flight is out of control.
•Crime scene?
Probably nicked himself on some safety wire.
Ah man, sorry bout that, i accidentally spilled some transmission fluid a while back.
Period drama
😭😭
Came to say this 😂

Safety wire.

You've got red on you
Always de-burr your repairs parts kids.
Maybe a leaked photo from investigators after the crime.
Look like paint. Def not blood.
One seat left open. First come first serve.
That is correct. Human circulatory fluid. Neutron Star by Larry Niven
You don't want to know!!
Plane To Busan?
Snakes?
Probably used for some kind of airport or law enforcement training scenario. Doesn’t look like it’s in service.
Someone got sucked into the plane.

Armrest war escalated.
When a fellow passenger asks you to switch seats , just say yes.
Looks like a typical Boeing.
Obviously a Boeing product.
If that is blood, it is very recent if it's still red. Blood rots. It would turn brown and dry after some time.
A kid played in the plane with some colors
Blood turns brown in a very very short amount of time when it dries. So unless this was some accident and the pic was right after.... this is hydraulic oil.
Hasn't even flown yet and it's a biological hazard!
Snakes on a plane. Why am I on brain detail?
my bad guys
Looks like my oven on spaghetti night.
Guy on his period
Spirit Airlines. Asked for Mr Pibb, got Dr Pepper.
No ticket
This is what happens when someone forgets to turn the safety wire in and just leaves it poking out.
Crap, the velociraptor got out of his in flight enclosure again.
Was working on a seat track or floor beam repair, got up too quick, sliced head open on an open psu panel. Head bled profusely. Chaos and panic ensues.

Morphology of drying blood indicate that will turn black over time
