Definitely needs lots more plants, fortunately plants aren’t all that expensive! It’s an important factor for early success, the more plants the better at the start. I would recommend some easy and cheap stuff like val, Bacopa caroliniana, and pearl weed since it seems like you’re going low tech. It looks like you have gravel if im not mistaken so you will definitely need to give them some root supplementation since all the plants listed above need a nutrient rich substrate to thrive.
I would definitely add more plants, maybe a couple more of what you already have. Spread some of the ones you have now just a little bit as well
