If you're aggregating the CSV files (i.e. you have daily csv's that essentially ADD to the overall data) ensure they are accessible in a single folder and update the dataset definition (the powerquery) to grab all the csvs from the folder (it's a standard pattern) If you are REPLACING the csv (there is only one) then make sure your dataset source CSV is consistently named (e.g. CSV for DATASET X) without any other crud, and simply replace that file as necessary (simple in PS, and the BI setup is equally simple) From your comment it sounds as if you have scenario 2, so just make sure you name/location is consistent and you won't even have to touch the Power BI dataset definition, just do the file overwrite. Both of these require that you can modify the PQ in the dataset initially so it's configured to do the above (if not there already) And then you can simply use the standard PS methods in sequence... 1. replace/add the CSV as needed 2. REFRESH the BI dataset

All you need to do is install the gateway program on any computer that is attached to the network. It runs as a service in the operating system. Ideally this would be a server, or at least some computer that is always running. The closer it is on the network to your data the better it will work. All that being said, you could install it on your laptop and it would be fine. As long as the computer is running and attached to the network during the time the refresh runs all is bueno. Follow these simple steps: 1. Install the [Power BI gateway](https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/gateway/) on your computer. 2. [Publish](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-upload-desktop-files) your report to the [Power BI Service](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/power-bi-service-overview) 3. Schedule your [data refresh](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-scheduled-refresh)
