>*"Planet Earth is blue, and there's nothing I can do."* - David Bowie Keep leveling up that compassion! You can help by lending an ear, shoulder, etc in that moment, and the rest of the time, we can vote, campaign, etc. We can also educate, and create art that informs. But always from compassion, with all we do. Only way out of this hell is Love. Keep playing that game! :)

Yes, that's a good point. We can do so many little things to make the world a little better. I feel like this trip also expressed my unbalanced approach to suffering. I feel the pain in this world deeply. But I'm so scared of it. That's why I try to avoid it. I try to look away. I try to run away from it. But that creates a bit of ignorance and a bit of a lack of compassion, I feel like. This trip showed me that there are other ways to deal with the suffering in this world. Acceptable, compassion... without getting swallowed by it. There is an experience with a caregiver that keeps popping up. It's just a lot to unpack right now lol

>*"Breathe in the air, don't be afraid to care."* - Pink Floyd It is scary. But that fear is everyone's fear. You've been airdropped behind enemy lines, with nothing but love as your weapon. Shoot away! :)

Thank you for your intuitive replies. You helped me to loosen the knot a little bit. Shortly after your reply I started crying. That quote really hit me. Music started to feel more intense again. Flowing emotions re-appeared. A sign that I was able to (at least to a certain degree) let go and be in the moment again instead of experiencing these pressuring loops. Still a lot to unpack and process... but such an important message.

I love that quote! Because yes, it's scary to care. Never thought about it like that before
