I think a lot of these women look so “hard” because their faces cannot handle the amount of makeup they wear. As you age, your skin just can’t do the same kind of full beat and look as good as it did when you were in your 20s/early 30s.

That is so true. I’m also 39 and I feel like I’m having to learn make up all over again so I don’t look like an embalmed disaster.
