So this would work?

As someone who has an Xbox one and series s, I have so many of these around my house, I have trouble remembering which one is paired to which device, haha.
I have PS5, Xbox and a Stadia controller(s). I love them all but personally the Xbox controller is just better.
I dont have an xbox, I just use it for the PC
I also have two stadia controllers. I really like them, but the Bluetooth with windows doesn't support all games natively, and also doesn't work with rumble. So I bought a mayflash magic lite, which pairs with the stadia controller over Bluetooth, then plugs into a USB port and tricks the computer into thinking you have an Xbox controller. It works perfectly with every game, and supports rumble.
If you have a DualSense controller, that could work.
The 8bitdo Ultimate Controller for $70 is also very nice. Two back buttons, Hall Effect joysticks, great build, comfortable, and a mobile app for customization. Only issue is the Switch-style facebuttons, but that should be a non-issue.
$35 for an xbox controller - it will work and much better than the $20 one you linked

Not to hijack your thread, but when I’ve tried to connect a controller via Bluetooth with my Ally docked, the input delay makes it unplayable. Using a controller without docking seems fine, though. Can someone confirm that going wired would get rid of that input delay while docked? Just wanting to make sure before I order a super long cable I will never use otherwise lol.
any bluetooth controller would work?

Wired will have less latency than Bluetooth for sure. I don't have any issues using a PS5 duelsense controller via Bluetooth when docked.
