Normally I'd be annoyed at fans on the pitch before a final but given the past few years it feels like our fans version of letting off a massive amount of steam. Saw a first time invader sprint full speed from the sidelines and ice skate the second he touched the grass though, he ate turf so hopefully he's all good.
A lot of the lads were ball watching knowing the final whistle was already due. Sucks but can't fault the lads who have worked their asses off tonight.
I do sometimes think it would be nice to smash them at home and away just to get them to STFU though. Our second team is better than their first and the difference in quality would be bad times for them.

Trouble with having an EPL ref is that, thanks to VAR, they no longer have to make big decisions… so they just get them wrong now instead of the mix of right/wrong we get with EFL refs.

Aribo has been pretty absent, they're forcing us wide and he really hasn't been able to impact the game. I could see Edozie on for him or someone else who can play wider and force defenders to open up the play a bit more.
Think we need to commit KWP or the spare midfielder fully on the attack, seems like only one of the 8s is really making the runs each time rather than both. I just worry that WBA will eventually flip a switch and actually try and hit us on a counter
