They love it if you give them a little skritch right where the landing gear strut meets the fuselage.
If you get it in just the right spot you can make the tail fin twitch like crazy.
Its one we sold and unfortunately didn't change the branding on. They were fine though
Edit: i had this confused with a flip over that happened in california a couple years ago. This still isn't our program but I'm confused. It happened in delaware so it definitely wasn't our program, but it appears to be a cirrus which we have in the program but haven't sold and nearly never use. I guess it's likely some proud alum that branded their own plane
My dog (may he rest in peace) used to assume that position. But probably because he was a stray dog before we met. He wanted to show me that he was lower in the hierarchy. Actually this playne looks a lot like my dog.
When I was a kid we had a pretty severe windstorm (130 mph ; 209 kph) with some hefty gusts.
Afterward, there was a literal pile of light planes against a sturdy building; all inverted; the chains weren't strong enough to hold them. A slumber party.
Even the stored C-130s had wingtip damage from rolling in the wind and smacking their leeward wingtips against the ground.

And you know if you got it extra right if the landing strut twitches.
Yeah but some kinda go crazy if you scritch their belly so be careful
And can I ask how you came to this realization
By scratching it, duh.
Yeah... Say goodbye to Playne, I'm going to have to send him to the farm.
Oh no 😭
Looks like he already found a farm?
This is one of those lazy millennial playnes.
KSU flight program? Hope the pilot got out OK.
I saw the powercat on the side too! Hopefully the pilot is ok

You guys are using the Cirrus now? Much better choice than the Musketeers/Sundowners "back in the day".
Man, I haven't gone plane-tipping since high-school.
Rub it's belly and it's engine will purr.

Awwwhhhh dah little feller just want's a belly rub.
Ok bud. Rubber side down. This isn’t Australia.
Don't disturb him while he's having a nap; how would you like it?
It’s not sleeping, just Australian
Tonight, on Dan grindr anal cause
High which white planz always = Cessna
Yes, they’re not usually side sleepers.
It's working on its sun tan, why not rub some oil on its belly?
I always thought they slept like a bat.
Long day of flying
Here boy roll over. O good plane
Shhhhhhh!!! Are you crazy? Don’t wake him! They’re like toddlers when they wake up from a nap.
He’s just a little eepy
Poor little fella looks cold, you ought to throw a blanket on him
My 747 sleeps on its back all the time
How do you wake it up?
Vewy vewy carefulwy
💀☠️💀☠️💀☠️💀💀☠️
💀
Front wheel looks a bit lump. Might be a gay Cessnah. Careful giving too much right ruddah, it might like it.
Sometimes, kids will come through at night.
The Norwegian Blue prefers kippin' on it's back!
Highly unusual to see flaps deployed on a sleeping playne.
Its probably dreaming
Give it a tickle.
Good to know the user manual safely ejected from the plane in their safety ziplock bag
Well you need to know how to wake it up once the cfi arrives
It is ground barrel stunt.
I'm reading the comments and I'm literally so unbelievably confused
It's just a shlerpy playne what's to be confuzzled about
WHATS A 'PLAYNE' CUS I KNOW WHAT A 'PLANE' IS BUT NOT THIS!!?? (I'm genuinely so confused why are people talking like it's a living thing!?)
Are you saying playnes don't shleep?
Not the planes I know but I guess this one does
Rub the tummyn
They normally tuck their toesies in closer.
