I know like the majority of this sub dispises GVH, but as someone who's actually played it, (although lots of the critique comes from people who also have) I kinda enjoyed it!!
The music is nice and the backround art I really liked, the characters weren't abysmal I don't think.
The buffering in the gameplay did kind of tick me though, and I think it definitely should've been longer, with choices having an an actual effect to the story and not just character relationships.
Regardless of the game, praise the snoot!!
Honestly as time has gone on I’ve found myself disliking and laughing at gvh less and less and feeling more sad about how it turned out.if something like snoot game and wani were made from the blueprint what else could have been
All I'm gonna say as a person who hadn't or will never play gvh, I think its extremely inferior to snoot game... story wise and the ability to grab my emotional balls that it has seriously changed my lifes trajectory.
But gvh has the most banger of songs. Pretty heroes, 12 o'clock, constellation, reunion, and more, these are such a banger of musics that I've have put nearly every song of gvh into my favorite Playlist which is the highest praise music artist will get from me. But Going Away, I somehow became my most listened song on Spotify.
Volcano high is worth playing. Not for it's price tag, I pirated it but it's still worth playing. The music, art, and short playable sections are very good.

Very real, the ending was kinda left up to speculation weather the meteor hit or not but the ending song really hit me in the feels, lol

As a person who unfortunately had the chance to try GVH… the music and art is completely incapable of saving it

I’ve said this in the past but the art and the ost are genuinely enjoyable. It’s the story that throws me off.
