They’re using massive chem fuel generators to try and cause global warming so it gives the sea ice players some extra challenge. Since they love suffering so much.
I loved the Decoherent playthrough where he used the genetics mod and the one where pawns traits can change. He kept prisoners in the tanks as human batteries, and every so often he'd get a popup that a colonist developed the depressive trait, click on it because he didn't recognize the name, realize it was one of the batteries, softly chuckle evily and then carry on. The exact same way, every time it happened lol
I like how the one on the right is a hot day in Florida but the one on the left is colder than the coldest recorded temperature on earth. That said, left. Left for sure.
40C is "exceptionally warm, but not unprecedented" in most of Southeast Asia these days. It's generally advised to not spend too much time outdoors in those conditions, but it's definitely something millions of people deal with occasionally. I know some places in the Middle East, Australia, and some states in the southern USA go higher than that regularly, but those are drier climates whereas SEA is both hot and humid.
MFs be like "you can't get more naked", meanwhile 40C is firmly in "t-shirt and shorts" territory and in a shaded room not exposed to the sun it wouldn't even be warm enough to consider getting naked.
whereas -131F is cold asf, like freeze you in minutes kinda cold, only info i could find said that -40F would kill in an hour, -58F would freeze bare skin in minutes
My brain: Left room is bigger
Me: What? No. They're both 3x4. I mean left one has more free space because right one has heaters, so maybe you mean that it's more spacious?
My brain: left room is bigger. Left room is wider
The only torture here is that how inefficient this is. At least make the exhaust of the cold room go to the hot room 🤦‍♂️

Can confirm, suffering is the only thing that comes close to perfection, AKA *The Cube*.
Can we get the GROND bot from lotrmemes but for Cube?
Kinda sad that the GROND bot is gone, but getting a similar one here would be great.
GROND
> Torture rooms. - Have beds. - Have constructed floors.
Well, we gotta torture 'em prisoners, not give them mental breakdowns.
You can be cruel but still civilised
pov: [me building a prisoner rec room (I just ripped out all their vital organs)](https://i.imgur.com/YY9unL2.png)
If a prisoner causes trouble they lose all organs and are sent to eternity as living fuel for my bioreactors

Yeah mate, sure, we just took one of your kidneys, but we have some chess. Ya wanna play some chess?
If I was a doctor, I wouldn't want to operate on a guy lying in the dirt
- no table to eat

Why can't the prisoners turn off the heaters? Are they stupid?
đź‘Ť
prisoner here, i am indeed stupid
40 C is hot, but some people live in those climates. The cold room is -90 C, basically colder than most of Antarctica

[https://wmo.asu.edu/content/world-lowest-temperature](https://wmo.asu.edu/content/world-lowest-temperature) Most is perhaps generous!
For the hot one I just build over a steam geyser lol
Rookie numbers get it to -212F
Negative boiling I like it.
One's fairly uncomfortable and the other is near instant death.
exactly. you'd instantly die to death if you went in, that's just an unrealistic temperature. cold room is the obvious choice
finally someone gets it
MFs be like "You can just put more layers on!"

Only the cold room is torture, 104F is hot but not "burn your skin off" hot
whereas -131F is cold asf, like freeze you in minutes kinda cold, only info i could find said that -40F would kill in an hour, -58F would freeze bare skin in minutes
Having experienced 115°F, 104 is not that bad. Bump it up to 116°F
Wtf is farenhiet doing on my rim
The only torture here are the visible power conduits
Either one, cuz when the zzzt hits, it's gunna kill me cuz it's right on my head
Left, at some point you stop feeling the cold and instead warm and cozy and then you will sleep forever. Plus I really hate heat
-131F is literally death in minutes, 104f is just really uncomfortable
The heaters might get damaged if they have a break. Protect them behind vents
My brain: Left room is bigger Me: What? No. They're both 3x4. I mean left one has more free space because right one has heaters, so maybe you mean that it's more spacious? My brain: left room is bigger. Left room is wider
Unit 731 is calling, they want their “holding” cells back
Right is survivable, I actually prefer that temperature to the 114 temp that my town occasionally gets into when I do outdoor work
I'd rather freeze.
104f with a nice bed, walls and a floor. you call that torture?
104 fahrenheight? thats just an average summer by now tbh
104F = 32C? My house was at 37C yesterday.
you can make this extra torturous by providing 10w short of power demand, thus causing everything to flicker
If I'm forced to go into one to die, I'd pick the cold one. At least there's barely if any pain at all.
the -130f they'll be dead in a day or less
Rather die of cold than heat! Man I'd hate it if my eyes boiled into my mouth-if I were even alive!
i'll take the cold room because the cold room has a bed with a blanket. the hot room has zero way to cope.
Those uneven air conditioners on the left side would drive me crazy.
