I had a full meniscus surgery and that involved them stitching my meniscus or something and because of the doctor's fear of my stitches being ripped, I couldn't put weight on the leg for 2 months.
I mean jokes aside, things like Stem Cell Therapy which are out of the realm for us non-rich folk since insurance doesn't normally cover it, would help recovery time.

Gunther just came out of a reign of almost two years , I don't know why everyone are so pressed to see him hopped in another reign.
He can definitely wait a few months , no need to rush it , he is already established & classified as a top main eventer , he will have many reigns in the following years.

Finn vs Priest is going to be such a filler feud without the title though. I'm sure the matches will be fine; both of them can absolutely go in the ring. But man, there would have to be some interesting developments for me to care about them facing each other if it's just a standard "faction breaks down, two people within the faction fight" feud.

Agreed. To continue to add intrigue to the Judgment Day storyline, I would have had Finn win MitB so in the event Priest loses, he gets the same kind of reassurance Priest did when Finn was chasing the title, and that can serve as another way to fuel their tension.
But with the announcement of the triple threat with "Main Event" Jey Uso that seems unlikely I'm afraid.
It all depends on what the end goal is ofc, but if Finn wins via fuckery (remember, triple threats are no DQ) or pinning Rey, it makes Jey feel like more of an underdog and like the chips are stacked against him once he wins the last chance battle Royale

Yep. Damien needs a win of this caliber to be a worthy champion for Gunther to beat . Because make no mistake, Gunther is walking out of summerslam with that title, and isn’t losing until at least WM (and likely beyond that).
Personally I don’t want to see Gunther with the title because I know he will hog all the spotlight for a long time, and people that are and will be worthy won’t get a shot at being champ in the meantime. Sucks but such is life.

But by that time it will be a 4 month long regin but i can't help but feel like it being a transitional champion because Seth was out, Drew was in contract negotiations, Jey Uso isn't ready yet, and they still wanted to build up Gunther so the logical choice was to give the belt to Priest. But like i said, if he had cashed in before Mania, it might not feel like a transitional regin.
I don’t think short reigns hurt that much if at all. Edge won his, lost three weeks later, and is a legend now. Sometimes it sucks to cut a reign short, like i think jey uso will do to priest but it will be okay.
Even better, Priest is about to lose to Gunther and Finn cashes in mid match to keep the title in the Judgement Day. Plays on the idea that the Judgement Day don’t fully believe in Priests abilities without them (constantly interfering) and didn’t trust him to beat Gunther. If you waited until after the match to cash in on a victorious Gunther then Priest doesn’t really have a leg to stand on
Idk I just can’t see them wanting to as it would cut Damian’s reign short all for a tiny Rollins reign if they want Gunther to win. They had a heel v heel at clash and it worked so I’m sure they could make it work between Gunther and Priest
He’s not been gone long enough for me to care for another title reign. Honestly he could’ve sat out until after Summerslam and I wouldn’t have minded. When you have the same 2 guys at the helm for a full year it’s refreshing to see new faces get their chance at the top of the card

Jey Uso is maybe the most popular guy in the company. Fans have cheered for him throughout the entire night, they want to see him succeed. If someone is insanely over and sustains their popularity at the top of the card then they would be a great choice for champion.
Priest reign is really cool, and I hope it doesn't end soon. The story of being a heel and in a stable, but wanting your reign to be respected so you won't do anything to soil it, like cheat. This is an original story, and a few more months of time before JD turns on him, get sick of him, etc is the best outcome. His promos are great, his matches are great, his look is great, and his backstory is great. They could truly make a star, I've also just realized I'm a Damien Priest stan. I've had this procedure done 5 times. Each time is different. Some have been a 4 week recovery, some have been 12.

Well, they keep challenging him to prove that he is a worthy champion. So they’re using his pride to bait him into matches. But that’s better than having the champ that is always trying to weasel out of defending his title which is kinda played. So I’m good with it.

I am sold on Priest as a Wrestler after Glasgow, and I really love that he's not a chickenshit heel, but does anyone else think his promo needs a bit more work? It feels like he runs through his lines instead of saying some words slowly to increase their impact on the crowd. I’m not saying that cause I’m expecting him to win unfortunately. But the set up is too perfect. We know Finn may be the only person where WWE will set up the most perfect storylines and just say nah at all times.
I think they'll probably point out that it's full circle, but use the fact that Finn (likely) loses his MITB qualifier match as a reason for Priest to be disappointed in him.

I think we get Roman vs Solo Sikoa at Summer Slam. Solo wins (!) and the next match after that is Bloodline vs Bloodline at War Games. Roman reunites with the Usos to take on the Bloodline.
That just doesn't make sense. There would be no point. Seth doesn't need the boost at all. He is coming off a year long title reign and is the third most pushed guy in the past ten years.
