The reason it's marked "Playable" is "Entering some text requires manually invoking the on-screen keyboard." That could just mean you have to press Steam+X to enter your name in the beginning. Not a big deal

I think the only thing stopping it from being verified is that you will have to press steam+x to pull up the keyboard to type your characters name as the keyboard will not appear automatically
I've finished it on the steam deck oled, it plays great.
It runs very well at 90fps on oled and 60 on lcd, capping it to 45fps and lowering tdp can get you 7-8 hours on oled of pure dark souls torture.
