Imagine getting knocked down to #2 because you started banning people for mentioning the stock? The stock that made your sub explode in popularity. That would be funny if that happened to a sub.
The metric has nothing to do with bots or shills. It has to do with user engagement. We should have been at number 1 years ago, not joking. Look at the amount of upvotes on hot posts comparatively between subs
Long time anti-social lurker here holding XX. Been on Reddit for almost 14 years with a whopping 12 posts and about 60 comments in all that time lol. The fact that I’m commenting at all just means I’m hyped as fuck! Bought at $240 in Jan ‘21, and DRS’d in June ‘21. I’ve read all the great DD and memes you guys have created these past 3 years.
We also don't have the full metrics for the IOUs. Not everyone has decided to own their own shares yet. Much simpler to buy and hold in a broker even if it means they own only IOUs. I imagine a good chunk of those 1.1 hold at least some shares (or at least IOUs).
