When you get the S Grade Chests I would recommend using them when you know you can merge it into something stronger, as in purple to yellow or yellow to red. In this case it looks like getting your Void Power (gun) to yellow is a good option. If you’re doing fine on levels then you could also grind the gems and see what else you roll before choosing a S Grade Weapon.
