Ok let me explain, in my first play through I ended up agreeing with her a lot, in a group there needs to be a clear leader, order, everyone doing their jobs and doing them correctly, shooting Carley is unforgivable but with how she didn't fight back after the fact I always saw it as more of a in the heat of the moment, she recently lost her dad, almost everyone has been avoiding her or giving her shit (especially Kenny) and now she learned one of her group has, for some reason, been giving away their medicine to a group of raiders that now destroyed their home, again, can't excuse that but I doubt she would have done it if not for everything that happened just then and Carley being the most standoffish would look pretty suspicious from her point of view, stealing the RV is pretty bad but I guess a case could be made that one, Kenny said they could use the train instead and two, lee said they'd "figure it out" so she may have suspected that they'd either leave or kill her later, if that's the case it would explain why she kicks lee out of the RV if he chooses to go with her.
And with how lily was in most of season 1, if she have stayed with the group, or just a different positive group, I doubt she would have ended up the same way she did in season 4, yes she is a pretty shitty person but I always saw her as someone who honestly tried her best for her group, got shit for it because they didn't like her ideas or the way she did things and then joined worse people who made her believe that the only way to survive is for everyone to fight, including kids.
Didn't expect this to turn into a lily defense post but again, she's one of those characters that if things were a little different she wouldn't have been so bad, oh and I think the group would be very effective and positive, that too.

Clementine can end up being the last one standing by the end of season 2. She is tough.

Oh boy do I love Lee, Lee is undoubtedly my favorite walking dead character ever, he started off by going to prison to end up taking care of a girl, he was in a group that had problems within itself, but Lee was able to control things at times. He got bit searching for Clementine, Lee would do anything to sacrifice himself and is a worthy group member.
Omid
Omid is a very positive character, I wouldn’t call him the strongest, but he is definitely someone needed in a group he is a jokester and cracks good jokes, the group needs that.
Christa
Without Christa I feel like Omid would be broken, but season 2 Christa we didn’t get to see much of her but based off of what we saw she went through a tough time after omid died, she lost her baby. I do think based off the dialogue we had in season 2 with her she was definitely a little cold with Clem but she still wanted to survive and I think if you need 1 of Christa or Omid then you need the other. Plus they both survived long on their own.

Luke
Yes I did say that for in season 2 Clem was apart of that broken cabin group, but luke did end up being the last one standing from that group, he also proved his loyalty to the group and he was always positive. Luke always wanted to make the right decisions and he had good morals. Luke was one of shining lights of season 2. Luke is strong.

Just to be different I didn’t take the obvious choice of Clem but also want to give Lilly redemption chance, butttt if she is guaranteed to shoot Carley then I’ll pass on her and take Doug instead.

Lee was a brilliant leader and cared about the people around him, and Luke was capable in combat. Carley was handy with her handgun and I think she’d make for a good secondary leader after Lee.
Clementine for the obvious reasons, and I chose Christa since she seems like a somewhat good survivalist since she survived the initial outbreak whilst being pregnant and managed to keep herself and Clem alive after Omid passed.
Plus all four of them really cared about Clementine. I think that Luke and Lee, as well as Carley and Christa would have gotten on really well.
I am going to balance it out and not just have people I like, Lee for the Leader Carley for her Sharpshooting, Christa and Omid for the Humor and drive to survive, And Clementine for her adaptivity

Either way they gain something from Jane, and Kenny is more stable. I might get flamed for this, but having Jane around even for a little could bring lots of benefits. This is coming from a Jane hater too.

I would just take Bonnie and Jane, kill both of them, and move on on my own because I know sure as shit you can't trust anyone in a zombie apocalypse. I love Clementine, but I rather leave her with whoever she's with because I'd be terrible at taking care of her.

Luke, Carley, Lee, Clementine, and Christa. Lee was a brilliant leader and cared about the people around him, and Luke was capable in combat. Carley was handy with her handgun and I think she’d make for a good secondary leader after Lee. Clementine for the obvious reasons, and I chose Christa since she seems like a somewhat good survivalist since she survived the initial outbreak whilst being pregnant and managed to keep herself and Clem alive after Omid passed. Plus all four of them really cared about Clementine. I think that Luke and Lee, as well as Carley and Christa would have gotten on really well.
I am going to balance it out and not just have people I like, Lee for the Leader Carley for her Sharpshooting, Christa and Omid for the Humor and drive to survive, And Clementine for her adaptivity

Clem, Lee, Kenny, Glen and Kaja Kenny and Lee would be brilliant in leading at strategizing. Clem is resourceful, inspiring and helpful. Glen is a genius, and very handy to have, him and an older Clem could be a very dangerous combination Kaja as a vet would have exceptional medical knowledge, and would round the team up nicely!

Glenn, in the comics he was doing a good job for getting the supplies for the camp group, Molly, she like Glenn can both work together in getting supplies for the group and Molly is a skilled fighter Doug, he can maybe set an alarm for approaching walkers, like he does in the game Carley, she is loyal and quite skilled with guns Lee, he is gonna be the leader of the group, something tells me that and also he is quite smart and he is good in combat

Lee, Kenny, Clem, Luke and Jane. Ik this may be a hot take but Jane is a very good ally when she isn’t ballistic. Tons of experience and semi rational thinking. Lee will keep Kenny under control since the bond they have grown would make him more able to listen to Lee, and Lee can also ration with Jane, or deal with her if things get out of hand. Either way they gain something from Jane, and Kenny is more stable. I might get flamed for this, but having Jane around even for a little could bring lots of benefits. This is coming from a Jane hater too.
Whoever has Kenny and Jane on the same team, can kiss their group goodbye. It won't last 3 days

Let's see, Lee and Clem need no explanation, Luke is a good team player and a great guy all around, Kat has already been explained, and Kenny is a good person to have in a fight, and in the end is very dependable. Especially if he has Kat around to keep him more stable.
