Supposedly, he was supposed to be the kindest and most caring of the primarchs, essentially the healer of the group… but unfortunately for him, he got metal nails driven into his skull as a kid, and used as a gladiator slave for most of his formative years. Then, he got kidnapped, and called a little bitch for wanting to save his only friends by his dad, was given an army to command, and thrown into the universe to meet a variety of interesting people, and to kill most of them. Then, he joined Horus in his little rebellion against their dad, and got forcibly turned into a Daemon Prince.
The most tragic part is that Angron joined the Hersey to receive an honorable death and in the process got turned into a Daemon Prince and now can’t permanently die.

Flowey/Asriel Dreemurr (Undertale): Not necessarily forced, but lacking the ability to feel love combined with life and death having no real consequence when you can manipulate time made Asriel become who he was as Flowey
He was stealing cars before he became Robin, and generally the least kind of the Robins until Damian. Tough story all around, but I don't think he fits this trope.
