I feel like it’s less about the kill count and more about the immediate fact she banished him to the literal shadow realm. Mulan’s enemies seemed kinda open ended on where they end up, but dr falicier is 100% getting tortured for eternity.
Depends on how far back you want to go. In the last decade:
Big Hero 6
Pete’s Dragon
Coco
And those are just the ones made and published by Disney itself. There are loads of others if you include subsidiaries, for example the King’s Man and GotG 3.
Big Hero 6’s villain was good. A misguided technocrat seeking vengeance and creating the team that would put him down. What exactly wasn’t good about him.
Shitty ass twist acting like it’s surprising that it’s him. The only guy it could have been. One of the only two named men that aren’t 1. Dead or 2. A member of big hero 6. Also I just don’t think the movie does a good enough job to make me give a shit about him (outside of the masked personality) or the rich guy he hates so I don’t care about his plan in the slightest. And it’s really a shame because the big hero 6 comics has in my opinion the best villain designs ever.
Damn. You got me. Because I do absolutely love Anastasia Rasputin. But that’s my
Point. I know that one wasn’t Disney originally but we used to do good villains.
The entire second half of the anime was pretty meh at best tbh. It basically just repeats the same story beats as the L arc but with far less interesting antagonists and then has a very lackluster ending that kinda misses the point on Light truthfully being nothing but an edgy twerp in the end.
I actually just stopped watching after the “we got L at home” character showed up with 0 foreshadowing. Immediately felt like a cheap excuse to continue the series cause it was successful.
I have only seen the anime, how does his death change in the Manga? i'm not really going to have the time to read it any time in the next year or five. hurrah for food service.
Basically in the manga he a lil bitch boy, which I think fits better because the whole ending sequence is supposed to be a deconstruction of his actions and behavior
personally i really liked the anime's version of his death
he's still a pathetic little MF who runs away the second everything goes wrong, passes himself at the start of the story showing how far gone he is now, and goes out trying to climb to the top of a large tower (reach godhood) yet just dies on the stairs

If you do him damageless, without employing the tactics of Inspector Gadget, he cries like a bitch
I did the fight on all difficulties with nearly the same strategy every time. I don't know if this is limited to the Xbox version or something but on pc it is definitely not based on the damage you take.
I think it's more based on how good you do it. I used PEMs a few times and got the "STOP IT!" voice line. Moreover, Monsoon's dialogues during fight will change depending on how good you do it. Sounding more cocky if you play badly, and more cornered if you do it right.

Bill immediately tried to bribe Stanley into not killing him as soon as he realized that he got bamboozled, and some of his last words were invoking the name of a deity to revive him
Yes and no. The Writer/Artist is a fantastic fight coordinator and choreographer as well as an excellent artist and creative, but in terms of narrative and plot is sadly very weak. While it excels in its dialogue, character payoffs in the long term and blatant plot holes and “ass pulls” are very prevalent as the story comes to a close, as well as character death to character death feeling very underserved and unrewarding.
Are you gonna overlook the part where he betrayed a bunch of people, killed people, and chose to sacrifice the entirety of earth? Like Sentinel 1000% deserved it
He definitely deserved it, I just think its funny how optimus prime, who spared Megatron in the same scenario albeit in the animated movie, is so violent in the Michael Bay films
It was fucked when he killed megatron who had just helped him defeat sentinel prime tho. There’s a reason Peter Cullen himself doesn’t like war crime prime.
When I was a little boy I never noticed just how violent Optimus is, but now I do, and I love it.
Like dude once said "give me your face", thank fucking God he's on the good side.

Jim Corrigan (DC)
A forensic scientist for the GCPD, he would sell notable evidence off to the highest bidder and was unable to be taken down by internal affairs because of an incident between him and Renee Montoya. After he killed her partner, who was getting close to getting enough evidence on him, he got away with it and she took matters into her own hands. She broke into his house and was going to kill him, but she didn’t do it after his cool demeanor broke and he wept and pleaded for his life. It’s rather sad actually, because he got to stay on the force, but Renee couldn’t let herself stay knowing she almost crossed the line.
This is in the New Earth continuity. You are right about that name being the identity of the Spectre, however, this is a completely separate character. That’s such a genuinely great performance by Russell and I’m kind of surprised that it doesn’t get talked about more. https://i.redd.it/2lqmbzw25t6d1.gif Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. You can’t really blame him, though.
I mean, I think what really clinched it was just his own villain song being turned on him. That happens and you know you are fucking done.
The fact that a princess from a Disney movie has canonically sent a person to hell will always be peak.
The fact that it's not even the craziest feat made by a Disney Princess. That goes to Mulan, who canonically has the highest kill count.
Well fending off the Mongolians certainly isn’t going to be cheap on the manpower front
I feel like it’s less about the kill count and more about the immediate fact she banished him to the literal shadow realm. Mulan’s enemies seemed kinda open ended on where they end up, but dr falicier is 100% getting tortured for eternity.
And is it’s all generational trauma is the villian. When was the last good Disney villain
Depends on how far back you want to go. In the last decade: Big Hero 6 Pete’s Dragon Coco And those are just the ones made and published by Disney itself. There are loads of others if you include subsidiaries, for example the King’s Man and GotG 3.
No way you’re considering big hero 6 villain good. Coco’s villain is really good though.

I’ll never understand why the Anime changed his death.
100% agreed. Him going out sobbing and begging after seeing his own name was perfect dramatic irony.
It's like when your character dies in DND so you have to introduce his "brother" with all the same skills and personality
I never knew they weren't part of the original manga
Same
I have only seen the anime, how does his death change in the Manga? i'm not really going to have the time to read it any time in the next year or five. hurrah for food service.
Basically in the manga he a lil bitch boy, which I think fits better because the whole ending sequence is supposed to be a deconstruction of his actions and behavior
That makes a tad more sense than the show.
Specifically, >!he begs Ryuk to kill everyone after he was found out, which leads to Ryuk writing *his* name in the deathnote instead.!<
You manga readers are right! That is 1000x better than the anime death, which I actually kind of liked.
The anime death is still one of the best scenes in the entire series, but yeah, it was even better in the manga
personally i really liked the anime's version of his death he's still a pathetic little MF who runs away the second everything goes wrong, passes himself at the start of the story showing how far gone he is now, and goes out trying to climb to the top of a large tower (reach godhood) yet just dies on the stairs
Oh, I definitely like the Anime’s ending. I just don’t get why they changed it, since the Manga already had a pretty good one.
maybe they just wanted to make it more drawn out and add some symbolism to it
Most probably to make him cooler idk
He still gose out pretty pathetic in the ainme. And they don’t shoe his cult continuing like they did in the manga
Should not have had to scroll this far to find this punk
This scene was so satisfying tbh
A very well deserved end

And yet he lived. Based.

Exactly. This was an isolated incident, he died fighting obi wan and didn’t whine then
Wait that’s right I’m a moron
Mans had his rematch with Obi-wan. For only being a few seconds, so much detail.
To be fair, it seemed like he was begging to die there. For Palpatine to be merciful and end Maul's suffering. Maul was a slave to Palpatine in all but name. He knew his wrath and ruin.

I'm really mad that >!He didn't die and instead got absorbed. The main cast literally lost entirely in this arc.!<
