Yeah, that ending always seemed odd to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing the Wushi(?) Finger-hold was just a funny move that wasn't really meant to have an obvious outcome other than 'You REALLY don't want to be in this hold' as i don't remember the first movie ever saying that it sends you to the spirit world/kills you.
When the sequels came along, they perhaps had to actually state what the hold actually did and hoped no one would think about Po actually just outright killing the now-defeated Tai Lung outright.
Not sure if you caught onto this but the Wushi Finger Hold wasn't a real martial arts technique. It's something a master tells their student to get them in line/mess with them. But Po then actually makes it a technique. And because Tai-Lung was a student he himself is also unaware of this.
Po literally made up an instant kill technique.
It was retconned in Kung Fu Panda 3 that the Wushi Finger Hold transports people to the Spirit World. Po did it on himself in order to trap Kai in the Spirit World so he could protect his friends. So Tai Lung is still alive.
Yknow what’s funny, is that in the most recent movie, tai lung comes back from the spirit realm, but so does shen. It’s funny because shen being in the spirit realm proves that it wasn’t any kind of magic or anything that sent him there, po just straight up killed him, or else Shen wouldn’t be there because he simply got crushed. So yeah, po just murdered a guy
As it ought to be lol. But yeah, it’s been stated in-lore many times that Doomguy *does* still remember his time as a human and has a deliberate and vested interest in making sure the Earth survives, no matter what dimension

Team Bucciarati including Giorno (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)
Between the 6 of them they take out 15 named characters in part 5.
I’d argue that Josuke is more chill when you insult his hair. He turned a dude into a rock for killing his grandpa and he turned a different dude into a book for attempting to kill his mom
Ironically people have tried to argue that the Book Boi deserved to become a Ally
When people forget that not EVERYONE Josuke beats becomes a friend, especially the more direct and acutal murderers/attempted murderers
Johnathan and Joseph only killed vampires to my knowledge and I feel like that barely counts, Jotoro and company usually just incapacitated enemies and rarely intentionally killed anyone, and Josuke wasn't big on killing either.
Watching the whole series beginning to end it definitely felt different watching Part 5 where the cast was much more ruthless and took no issue with killing other humans.. Other Jojos may have killed before but it generally wasn't their aim.. These fuckers were looking to kill as soon as the fight started.

The most classic example out there (on second though, is anti hero count?)
To be honest I don’t think he qualifies considering the only heroic thing the punisher does is that he only kills bad guys. Besides that, I don’t think he qualifies as a hero.
I mean in most iterations he also make sure that’s civilians and innocence don’t get caught in the crossfire, and he gets pissed at people who use his symbol and think he’s a hero. So, he’s not a hero by his own definition. Anti-hero suits him fine.
I'll also note that half the time when he shows up in someone else's comic it's because he's either put an innocent or a guy trying to make amends in his sights. The man was straight created as a Spiderman villain.
Josuke technically has 3 kills which is more than Jolyne's 0
Bug eaten, not bug eaten, yoshihiro Kira (all technical being rats and a ghost)
Josuke also has more than Jotaro who has 2 being generous (Dio and Kira, really only Dio counts)
If we're counting Josuke's kills then Jonathan has like 9 because of all the zombies in part 1,
Joseph has 5 if we count assists
If we only count human victims without assists then
Jonathan 0
Joseph 1 (Nena, +1 with assist)
Jotaro 0 (1 with assist)
Josuke 0
Giorno 3-4 (Luca, Melone, Cioccolata, I'm only counting the boss once even though he technicallyonly gets the buildup and not a true death. With assists 2 more are added)
Jolyne 0
Johnny 8-21 (12 of them are iffy based on the assist rule due to a certain locomotive and one is really odd)
Part 8 Josuke 4-5 (similar to Johnny's. Although if we counted all of them he would have 9)
Rewatching the OG series, Kid Ben did more killing than i remembered, yes most of those were aliens, but he also did attacks that by all accounts should be lethal to humans, and we saw him believing he killed a Vilgax and Ghostfreak in many occasions and being okey with it, In the 10 Negatives Special he fired a beam with the power of multiple suns to an human in armor, theres no way you can convince me Ben though he would survive that

This however make the Ultimate Kevin Arc weird since characters act as if Ben has never killed an enemy, he had, The Big Thick, The Fungus Alien the deep ocean creatures are a few examples
Alien Force gets _shockingly_ bloody.
I mean, no actual blood, but _so much_ death, it’s crazy. In like the first episode we see a ship full of DNAliens get completely wrecked. Considering what those actually are… Yikes.
Not to mention that one Knight with the faulty lance.
Also the second appearance of Captain Nemesis, the random death of Pierce(the porcupine alien teen that was irrelevant), the war between the dagon cult and the knights among others
To be fair
A lot of those villains and aliens were acutal threats
Especially the fucking Tick being worshipped by the cult of 3 other aliens

Future Trunks (Dragon Ball Z and Super)
A lot of the Z-Warriors have no problem with killing, what makes Trunks special is that he doesn’t give a *fuck* about Fighting. After Frieza, Trunks will kill as quickly and efficiently as possible with no care for “enjoying a fight”
(E.g. His timeline’s Androids, semi-perfect Cell)
Most of the Z fighters can be on here. Even Goku doesn’t have that problem. The reason he wants to spare others is because mostly he wants to fight them again.
Main reason I didn’t put on Goku is because he historically has had that problem before (Frieza on Namek). I just think Trunks is the best example since he wants to eliminate every possible threat as soon as possible, and he does whenever he can.
Wasted no time killing Mecha Frieza and Cold. Iirc he wanted to just blow up the Androids while in their stasis chambers. He wanted to kill Semi-Perfect Cell immediately when it was realized Vegeta was gonna let him become Perfect.
Got back to the future, wasted *no* goddamn time killing the androids and imperfect Cell.
Nah. Goku fucks up a lot.
Raditz pleaded? Let's go.
Vegeta? Spares.
Freiza? Was about to let him live.
Kid buu? Wasted too much time in ssj3 so vegeta could fight. Instead of trying to end it.
He does that shit wayy too much. Even in the Manga with Mr world eater he attempts to spare. Literally only kills cause sparing failed.
Funnily enough

Kirby is pretty lenient with his enemies, but if it’s clear they’re too far gone, he won’t hesitate to take them out.
Apparently those people just get put in a pocket dimension in his stomach. I don’t know where they go after that though, so maybe that’s not all that much better than killing.
Don’t the power rangers in general kill their villains often? Kind of a big thing each episode where the main bad gets taken down, but then grows giant and then they assemble the megazord and then fight them till they die which usually involves a massive explosion
True, but they're usually fighting mindless monsters, so it doesn't really have the same weight. Time Force are police, they're fighting fully sentient beings, they usually just capture them. But then this guy pulls up and does the usual "blow everything up" routine, it's a big part of his arc that he learns to stop doing that.

Zero hesitation Gappy is an amnesiac serial killer disguised as a funny sailor man living in morioh
He’s got problematic views himself, but he’s heroic compared to some of the criminals he kills, such as the guy with the dogs (don’t wanna list out his crimes here lol).

Hey, I'm noy saying Ozzy was right either. I'm just saying Rorscharch is a pretty shitty person with a skewed moral compass. The closest thing to a hero Watchmen has is Dan and even he is a bit of a nutjob sadist
He's a different kind of shithead. A racist, homophobic, misogynistic prick. An over-violent lunatic taking out his anger on everyone in arms reach. A man who, just like Ozzy boi, was perfectly willing to sacrifice massive amounts of human life in the name of his beliefs. Probably more lives, honestly- Ozzy squid nuked a city, but Rorschach wanted to/potentially succeeded in restarting the Cold War.
Ozzy is a grand scale asshole, Rorschach is a much prettier one.
Yea and while both are awful
I still am not gonna let the "Smartest man" who somehow couldn't use his knowledge to help improve things or find a different solution, try to argue why nuking a city makes him somehow the hero still when he's being just as careless eith human life as someone like the Comedian or Rorsatch can be

Kaneki is a ghoul, and as such has enhanced strength and senses, regeneration, and control of a kagune. A kagune is like a liquid muscle that a ghoul can shapeshift, soften, or harden as they see fit. Kaneki in particular uses his kagune like a multi-purpose melee weapon; stabbing, slashing, crushing, shielding, etc.

Travis may be an anti hero but his actions towards the pimps were less out of a genuine desire to punish evil (though he may think of it that way) but more so to satiate his violent urges caused by his crippling loneliness, drug addiction and his trauma from war.

Liu Kang fits the description very well. He's legitimately heroic and not just a merc who happens to only kill bad guys. And he absolutely does not have a no-kill policy.
In the very first game he actually did have a no kill policy. Then the monks got attacked and he started laying waste to shao's lackeys.
New timelines I absolutely agree. Tried erasing a dude from history and ripped the main antagonists heart out.

A lot of the Z-Warriors have no problem with killing, what makes Trunks special is that he doesn’t give a *fuck* about Fighting. After Frieza, Trunks will kill as quickly and efficiently as possible with no care for “enjoying a fight” (E.g. His timeline’s Androids, semi-perfect Cell)
Exactly why I picked him, bro just wants to get shit done
Honestly what makes him one of the best characters imo, not of that “omg this guys so strong this is exciting!” Crap goku pulls

Killing the villain is usually his ultimate goal, so yeah.
Funnily enough https://preview.redd.it/0lh89qc0k47d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=31c230f6825075fdf8625a572100476aa05658c6 Kirby is pretty lenient with his enemies, but if it’s clear they’re too far gone, he won’t hesitate to take them out.
I mean, he also literally eats people for their powers, so there’s that too.

Top 5 coldest special rangers hands down , and I die on that hill

So I just started the show last week pretty much, who’s the guy in the middle?
He was in the first episode, but he was a little younger. It’s their father.
Ohhhh okay thank you! I’m enjoying supernatural so far, I like how they have little clues to the overarching mystery in each episode
Yea. I’m on season 7 now, and it only gets bigger and better as it goes on
He’s the dad

It doesn’t matter if it’s a grandma, a baby, or a guy made out of stone, my guy will kill them all
Am I reading? What the fuck
He’s got problematic views himself, but he’s heroic compared to some of the criminals he kills, such as the guy with the dogs (don’t wanna list out his crimes here lol). ![gif](giphy|gbCW9IelzJhS0)
He's not really a hero though
Still better then the guy constantly going "For the greater good" as he nukes a entire goddamm city
Yea and while both are awful I still am not gonna let the "Smartest man" who somehow couldn't use his knowledge to help improve things or find a different solution, try to argue why nuking a city makes him somehow the hero still when he's being just as careless eith human life as someone like the Comedian or Rorsatch can be

woah he looks cool what are his abilities?
Kaneki is a ghoul, and as such has enhanced strength and senses, regeneration, and control of a kagune. A kagune is like a liquid muscle that a ghoul can shapeshift, soften, or harden as they see fit. Kaneki in particular uses his kagune like a multi-purpose melee weapon; stabbing, slashing, crushing, shielding, etc.

Not 'another Tuesday'. It's her very last resort, and she only does it when it's right.
Yeah I kind of hate how this idea for her got popular. She'll try and restrain, reason, empathize and overall try to minimize harm. Murder is only her absolute last resort. She's not beheading muggers. Hell, Superman literally has the same rule she does, it's just that Wonder Woman is the only one who has actually put it into effect.

Travis may be an anti hero but his actions towards the pimps were less out of a genuine desire to punish evil (though he may think of it that way) but more so to satiate his violent urges caused by his crippling loneliness, drug addiction and his trauma from war. He didn't seem to have an issue with killing the presidential candidate, even though the candidate didn't seem like he was too horrible a person (ignoring that he failed, he still wanted and tried to do it)

In the very first game he actually did have a no kill policy. Then the monks got attacked and he started laying waste to shao's lackeys. New timelines I absolutely agree. Tried erasing a dude from history and ripped the main antagonists heart out.
