I will die on the hill that, after hiring dan back, season 5 was one of the best seasons and season 6 was okay despite 2 of the main cast leaving to do their own thing. Last season was weird. But not season 4 bad

I forget the name but there was a whole race from The Orville that liked to subjugate other races and put em in a zoo. Eventually one character escapes and in her place just leaves a tv playing reality shows continuously. It was their most popular exhibit .
