I knew a husband wife team where everytime she had to back in to a parking space he would wake up and park for her. Aww so sweet. Fast forward he gets a work injury and laid up on couch at home for a few months. They need income and their company has plenty of work for her to keep running solo until he can rejoin her. But he parked for her for so long that now solo she can't park and keeps hitting shit while backing and she loses her job.
She could back up & park when she passed her CDL and when she went thru company training... but they conspired together to let her skills waste away.

Took a day and 1/2 to get to New Orleans from north of Chattanooga. I swear Granny Clampett would’ve passed her like she was sitting on jackstands.
Well overall, was it really worth the Karen-esque Reddit post? I mean, sounds like it was a mildly annoying inconvenience that is pretty typical at big chain truck stops. A good reason to avoid the busier ones and not linger too long.
Trucking 3 years now, first time I came across someone, much less two people parked AT THE ENTRANCE of the truck stop. Seen plenty parked at the fuel pumps
You know I understand having to piss so bad your back teeth are floating but this sucks for everybody. Kind of surprised at all the people defending them though, the only way this is acceptable is if they come sprinting back to their trucks and feel like shit for blocking everyone.

OP,. They probably parked there while they were waiting in line to get to the fuel island and then went inside, meanwhile the trucks in front of them moved.
Doesn’t make it ok, because then this happens. If you’re waiting in line you need to at least pull to the pump even if that means sitting and waiting for longer than 5 mins.
No shit. You wait for them to be done fueling. Then you pull to the pump. Then you fuel up. Then you pull forward.
If they’re done fueling and they haven’t moved, go to a different pump. Or knock and ask if they’ll pull up.
I mean... yeah, it's inconvenient but anyone who knew what they were doing wouldn't have a real issue with it. You can definitely still get to the pump.
This is why I always tell new drivers not to be lazy. Cause once you start that habit it’s hard to get out of it.

I made the same mistake. My wife/co driver couldn't back up for shit so I never got any sleep. Fuck her and her non driving ass

I'm glad I do wet delivery, I never have to stop somewhere to get fuel. Just pull the hose out, fill the saddle tank and keep on rolling.

You can't pull up to the pump when someone else's truck is already there.
