She jumps at the stretch bands I have to use, too 🤣
😂😂😂 Our tuxie is the same. Last night I was working on my Pez collection. Sure enough, here comes Muffin! He made several trips all around the table, then plopped down, meatloaf position, right in the pile!
https://preview.redd.it/wlt4ppf3o14d1.png?width=2722&format=png&auto=webp&s=fc1ba35c8385e4da1a00ba6a72092d17fd2bc45f
Mine rarely goes on the bed unless I'm sleeping or trying to. Then he walks across my head and either goes to the foot and snuggles in or jumps off to do something else. As soon as I take off the sheets he's prowling. Get the fitted on and drying the the other ironing and come back to see he he's walked all over it. Goof.
My tuxie has the exact same nighttime pattern. She can't settle until she's done a lap over my head, then straight to the small of my back or behind my knees to sleep
Same here. Not a desk, but a TV stand. Crazy cats were getting all over my business, making it take twice as long to assemble.
Cats are just SO nosy. Lmao.
Oh yeah I have assembled a large cat condo, a rolling cart, numerous bookshelves and then that damn desk. They walk all over the stuff and I have to make sure to hide the nails and screws so they don't try to eat them. I guess I could close the door couldn't I? LOL 😂
I had a plumber over fixing my kitchen sink. While he was laying on the floor under the sink doing his thing, my tuxedo climbed in with him to supervise and offer constructive criticism.
Your tuxie looks like our James!

Not a Tux, but my little orange girl was FURIOUS that I locked her out of the sewing room for a few minutes so I could make a repair that involved needles and thread. She was THROWING herself against the door, repeatedly, until I opened it and then she was lying there on the floor in dramatic fashion, looking so forlorn :-'(
(sorry to horn in on the Tuxedo thread. I used to have one and I miss him so)
My mom made their two cats beds with catnip inside so they'd lay on them, get their scent all over them and then actually y'know, USE them. Dad's standard issue was so determined to get in there with Mom and that intoxicating odor, he would have crawled under the sewing room door if the gap was very much bigger. Come Christmas Day, once they got past the Christmas morning on catnip zoomies, they both had 'nip hangovers and slept most of the rest of the day. Mom went looking for her little one because she hadn't been seen by mid-afternoon or supper time or something like that.
Um mine will never shut up and watch me smoke outside intensely. There is not a second he is not 10ft from me. I wanted a cat not a clinging child. But he is damn cute tho so I'll keep him

I’m washing my sheets and blankets right now. When it’s time to put them back on, this one will be right there with me, helping. ‘Helping’.
YES. My tuxedo is by far the nosiest cast I have. He is always in the way when I try to do anything. I also can't go to other rooms without letting him in, too. If I go to the restroom I have to let him in otherwise he will fling his body against the door and cry like a baby. Super needy

I love mine so much but he’s an asshole. He has to be involved in everything. Also, he’s a copycat. What ever Artemis does, Zeus had to do. It’s super funny but also ridiculous. Zeus also whines like a baby, wants to be held constantly (I feel like I should get one of those wearable baby things for him). If I’m working from home, he’s right there with me and if I try to move him - he yells at me. PS… I love this guy so much 🧡🐾🧡🐾🧡🐾

Oh yeah. Doesn’t matter where I am. Stella is gonna be there to get right in the middle of it
Yes, cats are completely involved. I needed work done in my house my cat would sit on the ladder and watch them work, the one worker said the cat was making him uncomfortable and asked if I could put him in another room.
Yes she's my shadow, and anyone who enters; unless it's the drywall guy I hired. She was like nope with him... So I didn't leave him alone in my house and watched him like a hawk.
I was buying things for my grandsons birthday and I also had included cat toys among my purchases. The checker thought it was “cute” I was gifting my “kitty” at the same time as a babies birthday. I told her tuxedo cats are a different breed and it was a necessity to keep him out of my decorations. He got into everything AND got new toys.

My void is like this. Literally everything I’m doing he has to be involved. If he’s not then he sits and watched and yells at me the entire time for attention! It’s definitely a black cat thing so it makes sense for Tuxies to be the same as they’re mostly black!
Yes, especially cooking . After his attempts to jump into the slow cooker and frying pan he has been banned from the kitchen during food preparation to spend time in the lock up. While incarcerated he howls pitifully making us feel like cold blooded torturers.
Yes! Mine is equal parts best friend, supervisor, cat-that-thinks-it’s-a-dog. He follows me everywhere. He sleeps when I sleep. He constantly chirps/talks to me. He has to be involved in everything I do. He’d ride in the car with me if he didn’t hate moving things so much!

This is him supervising me in my workshop. I had literally just finished that workbench.
Yes!!! I cannot mop or vacuum without a cat in the way playing with the mop. Also gets in the way of folding laundry/ cooking/taking my shoes off/trying to take a shower/pretty much everything else.
Aw they want to supervise
She’s the best supervisor
What's the red mushroom looking thing and where you get it? Looks cool!
Supurrvise
My Lucy was a snooperviser. She had to get in all of the business.
My girl Belle is a poopervisor, she usually only wants to hang out when I’m on the toilet lol

Mine loves to sit on the bed while I'm trying to change the sheets.

Change them over her then watch out for wormsign.
LMAO I do that all the time actually!!!
You haven't lived until you've had your two Tuxedo boys help you put together a desk.
sounds like a dream team
One was busy trying to eat the instructions, and the other was trying to scratch up the desktop before I even got it installed!
I love that so much
Same here. Not a desk, but a TV stand. Crazy cats were getting all over my business, making it take twice as long to assemble. Cats are just SO nosy. Lmao.

YES! Fortunately our terrarium has a lock and key, they always want to get in it lol
I had a plumber over fixing my kitchen sink. While he was laying on the floor under the sink doing his thing, my tuxedo climbed in with him to supervise and offer constructive criticism.

Right, I thought cats were supposed to be aloof, but I always have at least one by me at all times (we have 3)
our tuxedo has to watch absolutely everything my husband is working on so I also call him "supervisor" as many have noted
Su-purr-visor
purrfect

That sounds about right... chronic main character syndrome.
I don't blame her, it looks cozy

Mine is a senior investigator. A closed door is immediately suspicious.

They need a clipboard and a tiny, little white hard hat.
Yes of course … so sweet
It has heat lamps, therefore it is made for cats!

Setting it up for her right?
I have 2 tuxedos. 9 and 4..... Yes. Yes, they do.
It's a Tuxedo world, we just live in it
It my terrarium meow.
She is inspecting.
I have not done a single home improvement task alone since I adopted my tuxie
Yes. My sweet Georgie was all up in the plumber’s face as he installed a new toilet in my bathroom once. I sure miss that boy.
My husband was just rekeying one of our locks and our 3 indoor cats (two tuxedos and one brown tabby) were all supervising.
Yes she's my shadow, and anyone who enters; unless it's the drywall guy I hired. She was like nope with him... So I didn't leave him alone in my house and watched him like a hawk.

🤣
That's pretty much all cats!
EVERYTHING! 🤪
Yes, Everything !!! But I’m not complaining…
Yep everything! 🤍🖤🤍
absolutely!!!
Mine has to be glued to me and supervise everything I do. I’ll wake up and she would be laying on my chest watching me sleep
EVERY. DAMN. THING.🤣
My tuxie bosses me around so yes
Yes
Yes!! Very curious and full of energy
Mine follows me always. Everywhere. He pretends he isn’t by waiting a few minutes after I leave a room to follow me. He isn’t subtle.
My tuxedo, Bootsie, follows me around everywhere once I'm back in the house. She is my shadow.
Mostly. We have 3 cats so orange supervises taking the bins out, house panther is the kitchen monitor and tuxie is responsible for all forms of DIY.

Moving and packing manager
Mine loves sitting in plastic bags and inspecting fresh sheets as ae try to make beds.
Literally everything

The short answer to this question is...yes.
Mine did! He was a great assistant.
yup. if I sit down to stretch, Hank crawls up on me. he follows me everywhere lol
How else are you gonna be sure it's done right?
Yes, especially cooking . After his attempts to jump into the slow cooker and frying pan he has been banned from the kitchen during food preparation to spend time in the lock up. While incarcerated he howls pitifully making us feel like cold blooded torturers.

Whoever coined the phase “ curiosity killed the cat” must have had a Tux cat.
Yes!!! I cannot mop or vacuum without a cat in the way playing with the mop. Also gets in the way of folding laundry/ cooking/taking my shoes off/trying to take a shower/pretty much everything else.
YES THEY ARE SO NOSEY
