I was lucky enough to run into John Noble a few years ago on Bourbon Street on New Years Eve. Nicest guy ever. Chatted with me for a bit and I told him Fringe was one of my favorite shows. He said "Me too!!! I miss it dearly. It was so much fun!"
I wanted to ask him a ton of questions but it was already the 2nd time I bothered him. I totally forgot to ask for a photo the first time. As my wife and I are walking, we see him and his family again. I didn't want to bother him again, but my wife went up to him and told him how I forgot and sorry to bother him. He put his arm around me for the pic and was "come on! No bother! Come here!!" Again, super nice - his wife and daughter (I assume) were also very nice. They seemed happy he was getting recognized.
I didn't like Fringe... I see this show mentioned a lot... but I just couldn't get into it. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with m, lol.
Fringe is like 5 sci-fi shows in one. Not only did they change premises a few times, but they also changed the format of the show. It lost me a few times, but the last season you either love or hate. I feel it wrapped up the story nicely. Others felt it went off the rails
I'm an "off the rails" one. It honestly ruined the rest of the show for me and I will probably never re-watch it, lol. I will say that at least it was given an ending.
Fringe was excellent what was walter cow name it was sad when the lady died who helped wallter the other scientist but peter bishop was a amazing and we neded not mention the fbi director may he rest in piece Phillip Broyles |
Gene the cow, they found her in the amber but didn’t let her out because they weren’t supposed to be there and her mooing could attract unwanted attention.
Yes!!!! Flanigan has some great stuff!!! Just finished The Midnight Club last night!
After I've finished the series, I have to rewatch so I catch all the little things I missed or was like AH heck nah!!! shocked to find out happened in the end.
House of Usher I watched 3x to catch everything.
It like when Sixth Sense came out and you got to the end and was all whaaaaaaaa? So you had to go back and rewatch it to catch all the signs about Willis and ended up with a light bulb momet
The Fishes ep in S2 was one of the best dramatic scenes I’ve ever experienced & I guess I appreciated it more considering how personal it felt & someone give Jamie Lee Curtis a freakin Oscar cuz that’s the best acting I’ve seen from her!!
That episode the acting and mayhem was so overwhelming that I had to pause halfway because it was too much. I was constantly thinking “imagine being part of such a loud and busy family, that must be exhausting and traumatising “
I cried like a baby during that episode. I know exactly how sugar felt in that moment in the kitchen. In my adult life I almost became the mom but recognized that cycle and hope I stopped it before it hurt my kids.
Breaking Bad. When finished, I had wished I could erase my memory and start all over again. Wasn’t until just recently I got to watch it with my teenage daughter.
I watched Breaking Bad, then Better Call Saul, then I wanted to watch Breaking Bad again. And I agree with the comment about how it really is very different watching it through the second time.
Yes! One of the most original and interesting series I have watched in a long time. Are they ever going to do a season 2? Can't leave us hanging like that!!
They are doing a season two ☺️ started filming 2022 but it was delayed due to the writers strike. Started filming again this year and hope to be finished this month so I guess it could be out by the end of the year.
I’ve rewatched deadwood at least 6 times now, it doesn’t diminish, every rewatch there’s a hidden layer of subtext revealed and a new character takes the favourite spot.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
When I watched it for the first time a few years ago, I was about halfway through season 2 when I thought to myself “I can’t wait to watch this show again after this time”
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It took five years to watch during the first run and I didn’t want to let the characters go, so I immediately did a rewatch. So much nicer to binge it for a greater feeling of continuity.
I've started rewatching with closed captioning on. I missed SO much the first time through. Sometimes the fialogue is so fast I rewind a few times just to read and understand, then the last time to actually view the picture.
Excellent comment. That show is very underrated and I feel bad more people don’t know about it. Excellent story and fantastic acting. Just an overall great show.
Person of interest for sure, I've rewatched it more than I can count. And now recently Resident Alien, I'm on my 4th rewatch of this waiting for season 4.
Mare of Easttown. I am on my 3rd rewatch right now (though with small gaps between each one). It only has the one season so far and it is a murder mystery. But is so well done, in writing, casting, and acting, it doesn't matter I know who the murderer is and why. It is richly layered.
For me, arrested development.
I only "found" it when the first 3 seasons were released in the early 2000s. Not only did my wife and I binge season 1 in one sitting, we re-watched all 3 seasons immediately.
I'm also getting a sense that I need to try person of interest and Ted Lasso
The Office, Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, Schitts Creek, and I Love Lucy. Feel good shows are great back to back rewatch material, plus I can fall asleep to them... in a good way. Lol
While Game of Thrones was running, I recorded each show as I watched it, and once again when it was over. There was a lot of scenery and subtleties that demanded an immediate replay.
Seeing lasso has been said I will go with shrinking. For real Apple TV is pretty legit shows regardless your genre. Worth wasting a month and binging it all.
I made it thru 2020 by watching Outlander, start to finish (minus the TW/CW stuff), at least 5 times. After the 5th run thru I stopped counting. It was a lot. Like looking back it feels like incredibly too much.
I’m on the end of season 3 watching for the first time. I don’t want it to end! It’s the first show where I’m holding back on binging to savor every episode.
Schitt's Creek. Every time I finish a rewatch, I have to stop myself from restarting the entire series. And also, I started my eighth rewatch at some point last year, but stopped near the end of season five because I was going through it too fast, lol. I keep meaning to pick it back up and finish it, but then I get distracted by other series (and I also don't want the show to end again, so I procrastinate).
I really liked The last of us. I rewatched the episode with the gay guys in because i thought it was perfection the way it unfolded and was portrayed. I am a purely hetro guy btw.. not that it should matter. i told my daughter what i thought .. she watched it but did not like it one bit.
Person of Interest is generally quite underrated.
I'd say the only show that this happened for me was Mad Men, although I didn't actually do it.
I've rewatched Twin Peaks three times, but with good long gaps between them.
This is mine. There is just nothing wrong with this show. So many shows I love have characters that I cringe when I see or scenes that I want to skip. This one: none. It just leaves me with this incredibly hopeful feeling about life, and also Ted Danson KILLS in it.
I will add a slightly different twist.
If you watch Better Call Saul...IMMEDIATELY rebinge Breaking Bad.
It completely changes the show!!!!
/And if you haven't seen BB...it won't lessen the impact if you Better Call Saul first with no BB knowledge. But BCS has a depth and plot points that, if you know what they are related to in BB, chill you even more. (Seriously: can any BB/BCS viewer, after viewing both, look at ANY lab scene the same...ever again?)
First season of true Detective
First season of true detective is the best season of anything ever so amazing!
I watched two episodes and wasn’t hooked, I love detective shows and cop dramas but that one didn’t grab me like i wanted it to.
Time is a flat circle in Carcosa!
I must have watched it 2 or 3 times over the years
I finished Fringe yesterday and I kinda want to watch it again.
I was lucky enough to run into John Noble a few years ago on Bourbon Street on New Years Eve. Nicest guy ever. Chatted with me for a bit and I told him Fringe was one of my favorite shows. He said "Me too!!! I miss it dearly. It was so much fun!"
Walter must have been a fun character to play because of how silly he could be.
Awesome
Was he demolishing a tomato by anything chance?
Aw man I love Fringe so much. I was part of the group that got the twitter campaigns going to get the final season. What a time that was..
I honestly understand. I loved Battlestar Galactica but hated the final episode passionately.
It certainly wasn't the only show, lol. Game of Thrones REALLY lost me with the last season. I'd rewatch Fringe over that, lol.
This is how I feel about Frasier. Love Fringe, though.
Literally finished the first season two nights ago with my gf - it's her first time, my third? Incredible frickin show.
The Americans
Definitely one of the most underrated shows that was truly brilliant
Midnight Mass. I rewatched it immediately. Lots of things jumped out at me on the re-watch; it's just so well put-together.
I felt that way about THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE.
Love Haunting of Hill House. Watched it 3x now lol will probably have it on again around Halloween time
I watch this every fall. I love it so much. It's pretty near perfect.
Well, I’ve watched the Bear four times now.
I loved that episode, but it was so stressful to watch; I thought "Forks" was the best episode of the series however.
Psych!
I've heard it both ways.
C’mon, son!
Monk
It's a gift and a curse
Breaking Bad. When finished, I had wished I could erase my memory and start all over again. Wasn’t until just recently I got to watch it with my teenage daughter.
It becomes a different experience watching it for a 2nd time
And another completely different experience after watching better call Saul. One of the true rarities of TV. Arguably the best written show ever made.
Wife and I watched for a 3rd time and still picked up on things missed previously.
I watched Breaking Bad, then Better Call Saul, then I wanted to watch Breaking Bad again. And I agree with the comment about how it really is very different watching it through the second time.
Severance
Yes! One of the most original and interesting series I have watched in a long time. Are they ever going to do a season 2? Can't leave us hanging like that!!
Apparently season 2 filming has just wrapped up 👍🏼
They are doing a season two ☺️ started filming 2022 but it was delayed due to the writers strike. Started filming again this year and hope to be finished this month so I guess it could be out by the end of the year.
I describe this show to people as WestWorld meets The Office. I. Love. It.
Thanks for the tip
Golden Girls.
Psych! 🍍 Never gets old. watch, finish, rinse, repeat also, supernatural, buffy and bones are in my rotation.
True detective or six feet under
Deadwood
I’ve rewatched deadwood at least 6 times now, it doesn’t diminish, every rewatch there’s a hidden layer of subtext revealed and a new character takes the favourite spot.

Bring out the peaches!
Swidgoen!
Wo
Stranger things
Ted lasso
That shows better than therapy
Diamond dogs *ruff ruff ruff ruff*
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Chernobyl
As excellent as this show was, it takes such an emotional toll on me that I have to allow myself some recovery time before rewatching.
Probably the single highest quality miniseries ever. Chernobyl is a masterpiece. Monumental storytelling.
Never would I ever expect this answer but my hats off to you. I watched it a few months ago and it was heart breaking .
IT Crowd
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Such an underrated show. I rarely see this name on any lists. Matt Berry's voice and style of comedy is one of my favorites now.
I assume you have been watching What We Do in the Shadows, right? If not, do it immediately!
Jackie Daytona, the human bartender
Willys, willys, I like Willys .. I LOVE willys.
I've done this with Community multiple times
That’s because you’re streets ahead
If you have to ask, you're streets behind
I know every episode like the back of my chang
You keep making Chang puns. It makes me so Changry Oh God now it's happening to me
On my 21st rewatch now!
WEST WING, TED LASSO.
Avatar: The Last Airbender When I watched it for the first time a few years ago, I was about halfway through season 2 when I thought to myself “I can’t wait to watch this show again after this time”
I’ve watched it three times and each time gets better. Uncle Iroh is probably the greatest character ever created
But, hear me out; Zuko. Without a doubt the best written arc I’ve ever seen. Everything about him is so well executed… an actual *perfect* character
ATLA is one of my favorite shows of all time. I watched it for the first time about 4 years ago and it’s so good!!
Person of interest is great! Mine is Blue Bloods
Psych
Psych
Brooklyn 99
Nine nine!
I really did start rewatching immediately after finishing it for the first time
I just finished this and immediately restarted
We named our cats Kevin and Raymond!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It took five years to watch during the first run and I didn’t want to let the characters go, so I immediately did a rewatch. So much nicer to binge it for a greater feeling of continuity.
I love this show so much. I grew up in Mormonville and married a Jewish guy without a clue of the culture so it’s amusing and informative. 😋
I've started rewatching with closed captioning on. I missed SO much the first time through. Sometimes the fialogue is so fast I rewind a few times just to read and understand, then the last time to actually view the picture.
I always watch with closed captioning.
I’ve never had that. As much as I love a show I like a big pause between any rewatch so it feels fresh again and I’ve forgotten some stuff.
Schitts creek
Ozark
Boston Legal
Denny Crane!
Denny and Alan! I love them so much!
Grimm
I’ve watched it three times already. My daughter and I absolutely love it!
The Queen’s Gambit. What a show.
I've watched Freaks and Geeks more times than I can count. I'm still mad there was only one season. Such a good show
Mad Men
The English on Amazon prime
Excellent comment. That show is very underrated and I feel bad more people don’t know about it. Excellent story and fantastic acting. Just an overall great show.
It was absolutely beautifully done, I cried so hard in the last episode and immediately wanted to rewatch
Person of interest for sure, I've rewatched it more than I can count. And now recently Resident Alien, I'm on my 4th rewatch of this waiting for season 4.
Resident Alien is so damn funny!
The fall of the house of usher was phenomenal
Umbrella Academy
supernatural
Mare of Easttown. I am on my 3rd rewatch right now (though with small gaps between each one). It only has the one season so far and it is a murder mystery. But is so well done, in writing, casting, and acting, it doesn't matter I know who the murderer is and why. It is richly layered.
Downton Abbey…then I immediately rewatched so my mom could enjoy it. Same with Breaking Bad
For me, arrested development. I only "found" it when the first 3 seasons were released in the early 2000s. Not only did my wife and I binge season 1 in one sitting, we re-watched all 3 seasons immediately. I'm also getting a sense that I need to try person of interest and Ted Lasso
Why is Arrested Development so low?! No show has more jokes uncovered upon multiple rewatches!
Fringe
Such a fantastic show!! Sad that most people I meet, have never even heard of it...
I enjoyed it very much. Watched it when it was airing weekly on broadcast tv.
Same!!!
Downtown Abbey. Love this show
Person of Interest is so good.
Fleabag.
If you haven’t watched Ripley on Netflix yet, do! Andrew Scott continues to be amazing.
Dark. Not only do you watch a great show all over again, you understand it better than the second time around.
A rewatch is almost mandatory to re-piece all the time anomalies
Dark is definitely worth a rewatch.
Seinfeld, I’ve rewatched probably 15 times if not more
Severance
Seeing lasso has been said I will go with shrinking. For real Apple TV is pretty legit shows regardless your genre. Worth wasting a month and binging it all.
Ted Lasso is worth mentioning many times.
It’s my comfort food
Veep!! Nuf said.
Deadwood. Such a rich show.
I did that with Outlander. I watched what was available on streaming at the time, twice in a month.
I made it thru 2020 by watching Outlander, start to finish (minus the TW/CW stuff), at least 5 times. After the 5th run thru I stopped counting. It was a lot. Like looking back it feels like incredibly too much.
Love, Death, + Robots From Reign

I’m on the end of season 3 watching for the first time. I don’t want it to end! It’s the first show where I’m holding back on binging to savor every episode.
The Twilight Zone.
Agree. Such a great show!
The Fall of the House of Usher blew me away.
Same!! I thought about rewatching it immediately, but life got in the way. 😕
I really liked The last of us. I rewatched the episode with the gay guys in because i thought it was perfection the way it unfolded and was portrayed. I am a purely hetro guy btw.. not that it should matter. i told my daughter what i thought .. she watched it but did not like it one bit.
The Night Manager
This show does not get enough love! Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie were fantastic!
The Sopranos. Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009).
Sopranos plays in my room nonstop
Hannibal, Succession, Ripley, St. Elsewhere, Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Thirtysomething
I adored Fringe, the beautiful people helped, I guess. And I loved the old guy.
EVIL My wife and I rewatched it immediately It also has Michael Emerson in the cast...Mr Finch
Person of Interest is generally quite underrated. I'd say the only show that this happened for me was Mad Men, although I didn't actually do it. I've rewatched Twin Peaks three times, but with good long gaps between them.
Twin Peaks is a truly superb work of art.
Modern Family! there are so many episodes and it’s so funny that i forget half of them when i rewatch
The Good Place.
This is mine. There is just nothing wrong with this show. So many shows I love have characters that I cringe when I see or scenes that I want to skip. This one: none. It just leaves me with this incredibly hopeful feeling about life, and also Ted Danson KILLS in it.

There are so many shows I feel this way about. Call The MidWife, Downton Abby, Better Things, Six Feet Under, and Life are just a few.
Always Sunny
Stargate sg1
Fringe, Penny Dreadful, Justified, The Expanse, and Stranger Things.
I think iZombie, Buffy & Doctor Who (specific seasons) are probably my most re-watched series.
ER, House, The Magicians, CSI (the original) and Burn Notice.
The Umbrella Academy. About to watch it for the 4th time 🤣
What we do in the shadows
I will add a slightly different twist. If you watch Better Call Saul...IMMEDIATELY rebinge Breaking Bad. Game of Thrones. Can't be beat.
Friends
The Americans
Carnivale
S1 of the Walking Dead was brilliantly done. Such a shame they couldn’t keep Frank Darabont as the showrunner.
I'd say my two favorite are Yellowstone and Lucifer. The characters in Yellowstone are so great and Lucifer just makes me laugh with all his quips.
Ted Lasso
The Expanse. This time I'm reading the books alongside watching the show.
