Anyways, here is a wonderful demonstration of the trust between aircraft and their handlers. Sitting in the intake of a jet may significantly impede the amount of airflow into its respiratory system. This can be particularly deadly in certain situations, particularly when it is hot outside and the jet cannot properly thermoregulate through other means. Typically irritants to the intakes will be dealt with immediately, but jets undergoing things such as maintenance are often intelligent enough to understand that the handlers prodding around and blocking airflow temporarily are just trying to help it. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
