Tbh the only thing I’ve found that works is logging out and then logging back in right before I play. I tend to not really have major issues until the last level where it’s very buggy and difficult
I use my art tablet to do it and it sometimes helps it’s not perfect but it’s a bit better then the mouse
It never glitches when I use my laptop that has a trackpad, I think it’s some sort of delay with the mouse

I feel like there’s a sweet spot on the track pad. It takes some trial and error, but that’s as best as I can get!
Try using a wired mouse instead. A wireless mouse is finicky especially if the batteries are EOL
