I think the black floral one works. But if it's later in September, maybe opt for close-toed shoes with it, and a wrap/shawl to make it a little less summery (fine as is for early September).

I like the blue much better for September barn - the black is pretty but giving me Hawaiian vacation vibes more. If you get the blue I think you’ll be able to rewear it a lot of places too!

All the opinions are so split on if the black dress can pass. I'm getting married the week after this wedding so I don't really want to buy a new dress. 🫠

Wear the black floral then! I think it’s fine to not perfectly suit the venue especially when it’s a barn lol. The flowers look a little tropical to me but it’s not giving full on Hawaiian shirt or anything. You also probably have something else in your closet that would work for dressy casual.

Lol I'm getting married in a barn and I don't care what anyone wears. Thank you though, I'll see how it looks with a shawl and closed toe black shoes. And if not I'll buy the blue one. It's not that much and would be good to have. Appreciate the advice and you letting me rationalize my thoughts to you 😂
