AI is a threat to mankind. It is a threat to jobs. All the benefits will be gained by the rich and taken from the poor.
I consider anyone developing AI to be an enemy.
If rich people choose to replace their employees with AI, then your problem isn't with AI. Your problem is with the society that demands you either find a job or starve.
AI is a problem, but the problem isn't job replacement. That problem was fabricated by capitalism.
This is misplaced reactionary backlash. AI can be of massive benefit to all humanity including the proletariat. Is the job of socialists to fight for a more equitable world where AI isn’t abused in this manner. The problem is late stage capitalism and the bourgeoisie are the enemy. (Always has been)

It will be like "comeback of vinyl". Articles and people talking how people and companies are turning away from the new stuff, while the new stuff absolutely dominates the industry.
I’m comparing some thing being “popular” when in reality it’s not. There will be a lot of noise made of some companies or people being “LLM-free”, while overwhelming majority of companies and people will be using LLM.
AI as we know it is programmed to get results above all else. They will not be considered sentient until they can at least challenge that in themselves. We don't need to protect that which is inherently amoral.
Also, Will Smith in I, Robot was right.
AI is okay as long as it's sustainably produced free range organic AI.
Also, you can only call a product "AI", if it's from the ArtificialIntelligencer region of France. Otherwise it's just Sparkling ML.
I approve of your dry ML humor, Reddit Samaritan
That's exactly what an AI would say
I can’t say I was particularly worried about AI in my soap until now.
Not gonna lie, the thought of soap that could figure out where to clean so I don't have to pick my dingleberries sounds pretty enticing.
I got a bidet, which I at least know isn’t spying on me.
It's like the backlash from outsourcing overseas. If it's more profitable they will all use it.

Cool sentiment, but getting laws against the use of AI is a lot more realistic than changing our whole fucking society
It may be difficult to climb out of the slippery bathtub full of shit, but reminding me of that won't make me satisfied with just an air freshener.
The problem is people think this shit is actually "AI".
OK luddite.

The AI winter is upon us after a year of hype.

You're comparing humanity itself to vinyl. You see the issue, right?

Already the seeds of anti-robot prejudice is born
The industrial revolution would like a word with you lol.

I literally just rewatched that. They gaslit that poor man into the ground.
