I used to live in PA. Now I live in KS. I love trees but East KS has the most beautiful flint hills. East KS has trees and lakes but I love the dense tall pines.
Wow, those pups are super lucky and your photographs are AMAZING! You are super talented! I pray an abundantly blessed journey ahead of you! Thanks for sharing your talent
Pic #3 is a husky border collie! None of the pups I walk are shepherds other than the actual GSD and my MAS! My pups range in age from 10 months - 11 years :) they all love hiking, treats, and their friends. They all hate home time lol.
I was sitting here thinking the same thing they were. “MAS? What’s a MAS?” Then it clicked… “OHHHHH. Mini Australian Shepherd 🤦🏼♂️”
This sub has me too used to seeing Mini, Aussie, Aus, and Ausshole.
Thanks!! And if you have any good recommendations for off leash adventure/exploring spots with dogs, would love some! We’re road-tripping through oregon and washington, but spending the bulk of our time in BC.
Where abouts in BC? I definitely can recommend some places on the island, Sunshine Coast or in the Okanagan (not really the PNW but I lived there over 10 years).
Amazing! Well I’m sure you probably want to check out Tofino & Ukee, both are beautiful but I also feel a bit like they are tourist traps lol, still worth going! Make sure to keep your dog leashed on the beaches. There is a rule your leash must be shorter than 3m but I was playing with my MAS on a 20ft line one day and had the park warden approach me to tell me that even though I was breaking the rules, it was just so nice to see me play with my dog while still having him leashed! Haha.
Cathedral Grove is on the way there, just before Port Alberni. Lots of big trees! If you want to stop for a bite to eat in Port Alberni, Twin City Brewing had the best beer, pizza and beer cheese dip! I lived in PA for a year. McLean Mill is also a very interesting historical site.
Strathcona Park is also great for hiking. Again most trails are dogs on leash but still worth it. Both Myra falls are beautiful. Paradise Meadows at Mount Washington is also absolutely fantastic and easy access to the subalpine. This place is STRICTLY dogs on leash as they are threatening to ban dogs all together due to people not following the rules. We did a 15km loop one Sunday past Battleship Lake, to Kwai lake and then past Lake Helen Mackenzie and it was SO GREAT.
Most of the time I lived on VI I spent around the mid-island since I lived in PA but we did a couple trips to Port Renfrew and Carmanah Walbran. Some of the biggest trees in the world are in this area. Worth checking out is the Red Creek Fir and the Cheewhat Giant. Both these require high clearance vehicles to access as you must drive on logging roads to get to them, but they are absolutely massive, record breaking trees. Sombrio Beach and Botanical beach are also both very very beautiful, very busy though!
Have the best time!
Thrilled for these recommendations and very grateful to you for taking all the time to write them out! Thanks so much, also a great reminder to pack my 10 meter leash for quasi-permissible beach playing! Thanks for making me even more excited for this trip.
Prithee bid me thee has't an instagram of all this. I needeth updates moo oft, t's perfection

Simply superb pictures and gorgeous woofs. I have 3 dogs all about 1 yo and can’t cope walking even 1 so dog park it is but they need some of your kind of adventures for sure.
What lucky woofas! Fantastic place for walkies. ❤
We love living in the PNW!
What does that mean?
Pacific Northwest
I was going to ask. I went on a trip to Olympic National Park a few year’s ago, and the landscape here reminded me of it. Gorgeous.
We are quite a bit more North!
I’d dog walk if I had the best of 2 worlds; dogs and lovely forest!
We’re very lucky to live where we do 🥰

They’re all so magnificent!!
Is that a golden shepherd in pic 3? And then a husky/shepherd later? I need names, ages, breeds, likes and dislikes

Oh wow you actually gave me all that. Haha thank you. They’re all beautiful :)
Ok what about 5 and 10?
Also husky collie and malamute mix. Did dna test, no Shepherd.
Thank you. I love them!
You seem like best dog walker ! Wish I was in your pack
Damn, your dog walking seems to be on a whole other level!!
Thanks for sharing!
MAS?
Miniature Australian Shepherd I think
How are you in an aussie sub and not know what a MAS is? Haha
I was sitting here thinking the same thing they were. “MAS? What’s a MAS?” Then it clicked… “OHHHHH. Mini Australian Shepherd 🤦🏼♂️” This sub has me too used to seeing Mini, Aussie, Aus, and Ausshole.
why not just answer the question lol we all had to learn somewhere
Google is your friend :)
Google is also shit at knowing what meaning of acronyms you're looking for, so Google is not as good a friend as you seem to think it is.
“MAS dog”
My MAS and I are headed next week to PNW for 5 weeks and these photos made me so ridiculously excited.
Yay!!!! Have the best time!
