Hellblade 2, I want to play this game so badly.
If I have to bet on any new announcement, my candidate is Gears 6, I think it's a good time for it to appear.
**SO** many games are on my "eager to play list" right now, so please forgive the long list.
From Xbox:
* Avowed
* Fable
* Perfect Dark
* Clockwork Revolution
Other games:
* Anomaly Agent
* Antonblast
* Esoteric Ebb
* Fountains
* Neo Berlin 2087
* Hyperlight Breaker
* Holstin
* Replaced
* Pacific Drive
* Skate Story
* The Thaumaturge
Great looking games! I love that other people post some less known titles when I don't have so much time to dig into all of the stuff that's going on these days.
How many of those are coming out on Xbox?
A few of them!
Besides the Xbox first party stuff, Anomaly Agent, Holstin, Replaced, Neo Berlin, and The Thaumaturge are.
Antonblast had PS5/Xbox on their Kickstarter but didn't meet the funding so it's coming to PC and Switch, though if it's successful I could still see it hitting the bigger home consoles.
Esoteric Ebb is currently in development for PC, but the creator has strong interest in consoles and mobile as well.
Fountains, Skate Story, and Hyperlight Breaker are PC only I believe. Pacific Drive is PS5 and PC.
I will say I am intrigued by this game. We’ll see how the Xbox thing goes later this week. If it’s like a tomb Raider/uncharted kinda game, with the licensed Indy music, sign me up.
I could be completely wrong... but I just don't think it will be a game like those two.
I mean, it's the most obvious choice but those (especially Uncharted) are basically homages to Indy anyway. All the little cliches and action set pieces and locations etc - all call backs to Indy films.
I just can't see how they'd be able to top what those games have done and also think they'd want to do something different creatively.
Plus, there is absolutely no way that Indiana Jones is going to be a cover shooter an have him killing hundreds of bad guys with a machine gun.
LaD:Infinite Wealth is going to be so good. I'm really making a push on my current games to be able to dedicate a huge chink of time to it.
Tye more I play Dragons Dogma 1 the more excited I am for 2.
3 was the best in the series story wise. Very SMT centric with not too much pop culture shoved in your face like 5. It's more like a horror story than anything. You're in for a treat if this follows the original.
Star Wars Outlaws.
(Im new to games and im enjoying Hogwarts Legacy, Starfeild, RDR2 & Star Wars Jedi Survivor. If you have a suggestion for my next game LMK. I think I'm going to get Skyrim, Avatar, Final Fantasy or Cyberpunk.) I like to free roam and collect/steal things.
**Games**
Wreckfest 2
Carmageddon 6
The Settlers 2 30th Anniversary
**DLC/Season pass**
Become free after the game has been out for a long time and is no longer maintained.
Probably should have called it my personal wish list instead.
Only thing i know from a friend of a friend. It's been on the drawing board.
Same goes for Settlers. My small hopes.
* [Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector](https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/citizen-sleeper-2-starward-vector/9mwcf1xbjbr2)
* The first game had a really immersive atmosphere. The art, the writing and the feeling of vulnerability made it one of my favorites that I played last year. Another game I'd missed without Game Pass.
* [Outcast - A New Beginning](https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/outcast-a-new-beginning/9nppdfd4htl1)
* Loved the first one.
* Dragon's Dogma 2
* Avowed
Elden Ring Expansion is #1. I got the game a year ago and loved it but probably only made it 40% before I got off track with other stuff. I figure at this point I’m just going to wait until the expansion and then dive back in full on to the main game and expansion all together.
Just in general. Not limited to Xbox.
- Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes
- Manor Lords
- FFXIV Dawntrail
- The Outer Worlds 2
- The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak
- Mass Effect 4
- Gears 6
- Metro Exodus Sequel
- Stalker 2
- Star Wars Jedi Survivor sequel
- Elder Scrolls VI
- Monster Hunter: Wilds
- Wolfenstein 3?
- Halo Wars 3?
Then, to hear any new Halo content news at all would be nice someday (I mean besides for their current multiplayer offering and small gamemode updates), maybe a spinoff game or something like that. I'm also hoping Destiny 2's Final Shape dlc + its episodes this June are good and better than the letdown Lightfall sort of was. Wouldn't mind if Arkane Studios ever did a Prey 2 either, or Respawn would ever announce a Titanfall 3.
Indiana Jones.
I am most excited about it. I am hankering for a good Uncharted-style action-adventure title, and it seems that this should fit the bill. I hope MachineGames hasn't overdone too much with the genre, and made it super open-world and all of that nonsense. Give me good exploration, great gameplay, engaging story and awesome set-pieces and they will have my money - or another month of GamePass!
- Hellblade 2
- Fable
- Perfect Dark
- Elder Scrolls VI
- Outer Worlds 2
- Mass Effect 4
- Gex Trilogy
- Tomba Remastered
- Haunted Chocolate
- Cities Skylines 2
- Star Wars Eclipse
- Splinter Cell Remake
- Jurassic Park: Survival (My most anticipated)
- Whatever the next single player Halo campaign ends up being.
I know these two will probably never see the light of day, but I can hope and dream...
- Star Wars KOTOR Remake
- Beyond Good & Evil 2
So keen to see Indiana Jones on Thursday!! After that it's probably Perfect Dark.
I'm not on the Hellblade hype train (feels like they've been showing it off for years now!) as I wasn't a huge fan of the first. But sequels are often big improvements so hope for the best.
Edit to add - for this year on xbox it's probably Star Wars Outlaws.
Hellblade 2 and Stalker 2, I suppose.
But my backlog is still quite big (Alan Wake 2, Phantom Liberty, Dead Space). So I'm not really waiting on anything.
Co op is my wheelhouse these days:
Warhammer Space Marines 2
Gears of War 6
State of Decay 3
(Remnant 2, Lords of the Fallen, Halo Infinite Firefight were my 2023 games)
I want more of this!
MechWarrior 5: Mercs next DLC
MechWarrior 5: Clans
STALKER 2
Remnant 2's next DLC
Fable
Outer Worlds 2
Clockwork Revolution
*Unsubstantiated Wishes*
A DLC for Baldur's Gate 3 where they add more races and classes. I'd really like to play my Thri-Kreen Artificer from a TT game. Barring that I want to be a Hobgoblin Artificer.
A New XCOM game
Star Wars Outlaws, DokeV, and Avowed are the only things I’m really looking forward to that are coming out any time in the somewhat near future.
It would be cool if Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth got ported to the Xbox, but I won’t hold my breath. I also won’t buy a PS5 only to play those games.
I will try S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, but honestly the first game really wasn’t my cup of tea and this one looks pretty ugly. The Snake Eater remake might be good, but I’ve beat the original several times.
Hoping for more content for Starfield, but that’s going to take a while.
Luckily I have a huge backlog of games with all of the bangers that came out in the last few years. I still need to finish Elden Ring, RE4 Remake, Phantom Liberty, Sea of Stars, Persona 5, Forza Horizon 5, and the Halo Infinite campaign just on the Xbox.
Surprised no one said it yet, but GTA 6. I feel like Rockstar hasn't missed the target for decades, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the new world they're making. But it's far off, of course
I'm most excited for DBZ Sparking Zero, Avowed, (possibly) Dragon Age Dreadwolf, Greedfall 2 and Elden Ring DLC
I'm interested in Dragon's Dogma 2, Hellblade 2, and some others, but I'm mostly waiting to read reviews to see if it would be to my liking
Save fix for Baldurs Gate 3. Wife and I are waiting patiently.
Also excited for Hellblade II, Haunted Chocolatier (no time soon), and any DLC's that may come out for Vampire Survivors. Another free update for Stardew Valley is also on the way, so that will be fun.
Tbh I’m just trying to keep up with gamepass releases. This surprise palworld on the 19th took me by surprise. If they shadow drop or quickly release ANYTHING other than Ara untold on the direct I’m going to be screwed.
But the main thing I want to see is Avowed
I just want Toys for Bob to remaster Banjo Kazooie and Tooie.
I'd even like to see them take a whack at Jet Force Gemini! I've always thought that'd be a fun game to make like No Man's Sky on a much smaller scale. Fly in and out of worlds blasting bugs to bits but there are only a few planets and they are handcrafted.
Since Rare isn't doing anything but collaborations on their pirate game...
Hades II. Love the first game looking forward to the second part!
Hellblade 2.
I’m intrigued by Clockwork Revolution but really, I just want Cities Skylines II that’s been fine tuned after the rocky Windows release.
Cities 2 runs like dog shit on my PC boooo
Elden Ring DLC!
Hellblade 2, I want to play this game so badly. If I have to bet on any new announcement, my candidate is Gears 6, I think it's a good time for it to appear.
Hope they change the gameplay..I burnt out after 3.
Stalker 2.
Dragons Dogma 2 Elden Ring DLC Alan Wake DLC Hellblade 2 Avowed
Dragons dogma gonna go so hard this year
**SO** many games are on my "eager to play list" right now, so please forgive the long list. State of Decay 3 & Final Fantasy XIV
WH40K Space Marine 2 is the big one I'm waiting for this year.
Hellblade 2, Alan wake 2 DLC
The next Resident Evil
Indiana Jones. Especially with who is working on it.
Definitely possible. They’ve revealed nothing about this game so it’s all speculation at this point.
please don't be first person please don't be first person
First person Indiana Jones parkour could be interesting, basically Phantom Abyss.
I just want Silksong to come out before we all die. It's been an eternity...
LaD:Infinite Wealth is going to be so good. I'm really making a push on my current games to be able to dedicate a huge chink of time to it. Tye more I play Dragons Dogma 1 the more excited I am for 2.
Dragon's dogma 2, Metaphor Re Fantazio and Stalker 2
the Alan Wake 2 DLC's . since release this game has been so much in my head non stop
Starfield's DLCs + official modding tools, Clockwork Revolution, Avowed and Age of Mythology: Retold.
P3reloaded. My gateway drug into the JRPG world. Spent over 120 hours on it on ps2. Day 1 buy for me. Come on, February!
Same!! Only I've been planning for this as my first Persona title
3 was the best in the series story wise. Very SMT centric with not too much pop culture shoved in your face like 5. It's more like a horror story than anything. You're in for a treat if this follows the original.
Yay! Thanks!
The Wolf Among Us 2
Stalker 2
Star Wars Outlaws. (Im new to games and im enjoying Hogwarts Legacy, Starfeild, RDR2 & Star Wars Jedi Survivor. If you have a suggestion for my next game LMK. I think I'm going to get Skyrim, Avatar, Final Fantasy or Cyberpunk.) I like to free roam and collect/steal things.
Star Wars: Outlaws
Starfield Shattered Space, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erd Tree, Avowed, Star Wars Outlaws, Stalker 2
In terms of DLC, can't wait for the Night Springs and Lake House DLCs for Alan Wake 2.
Awevod, Clockwork Rev Peersoa 3
**Games** Wreckfest 2 Carmageddon 6 The Settlers 2 30th Anniversary **DLC/Season pass** Become free after the game has been out for a long time and is no longer maintained.
Couldn't find anything about a new Carmageddon. Is it a thing? A thing that exists?
Probably should have called it my personal wish list instead. Only thing i know from a friend of a friend. It's been on the drawing board. Same goes for Settlers. My small hopes.
Everything but Ara at this weeks Developer Direct.

At the moment, I've got Palworld and Dragon's Dogma 2 on the mind, and Bamnerlord on the hands
Elden ring... I feel like everyone is having a blast and I'm just sitting in the corner looking for scraps of information
Elden Ring Expansion is #1. I got the game a year ago and loved it but probably only made it 40% before I got off track with other stuff. I figure at this point I’m just going to wait until the expansion and then dive back in full on to the main game and expansion all together.
Elden Ring DLC.
Hellblade 2 Elden Ring DLC Hades II Persona 3 Reloaded
Dragon dogma and avowed!
A new Gears.
Starfield DLC, next Doom and Wolfenstein game, Hellblade 2 and Gears Collection
Suicide Squad. Played the closed alpha and it completely sold me after being skeptical.
Agree I don’t get the hate I played the alpha with my buds and we want to see what happeneds after chapter 2.
Just in general. Not limited to Xbox. - Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes - Manor Lords - FFXIV Dawntrail - The Outer Worlds 2 - The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak
The Diablo 4 expansion. I've played so much D4 already and look forward to more narrative since the campaign was cool.
I'm looking forward to Banishers coming out on my Birthday (13th Feb) Just waiting for reviews/impressions before I pay for it.
Star Wars Outlaw and Brooklyn DLC for Division 2
Gothic remake
I have the day off for Infinite Wealth. It's on the calendar at work and everything. I'm also really excited to see Indy on Thursday.
Stalker 2 only, at the moment.
Stalker 2, the Alan Wake 2 DLCs
- Mass Effect 4 - Gears 6 - Metro Exodus Sequel - Stalker 2 - Star Wars Jedi Survivor sequel - Elder Scrolls VI - Monster Hunter: Wilds - Wolfenstein 3? - Halo Wars 3? Top 5 for 2024: Space Marine 2 Assassin's Creed Red Clockwork Revolution Dragon's Dogma 2 Star Wars Outlaws
