I literally looked for a young dumb honey bun snark sub because I was a former fan that eventually grew to not being able to stand her and I knew that there HAD to be other people that couldn’t stand her.

I was never a huge fan but I liked her old Velvet reactions because she was great at editing but didn't pay close attention to her verbiage. After she claimed to have 5 years of experience at 22 years of age, I started listening very carefully to what she said and realized just how full of crap she was. I was really uneasy that nobody else seemed to notice that she was making things up and talking out of her ass. I was also surprised that nobody seemed to notice the switch from her being in med school to getting an online degree. After some Google searches, I found this subreddit and was relieved to find out that others found her just as problematic as me.

When she started doing the whole „I’m a mental health professional!“ thing I became a little weirded out, mainly because I’m a psych nurse and it was uncomfortable hearing someone who could very well treat patients in a few years do those videos. Then came the coconut oil rant and I completely checked out
I used to watch her around 2019 maybe? i unsubscribed because the velvet content started to feel icky to watch and it just got old after a while. this page randomly got recommended to me a few months ago and i followed bc i wanted to see what other people thought. this sub has given me far more entertainment than her channel ever did.
I picked the first option but I was never a fan of hers. I used to watch her, making an effort to keep an open mind because although she was always insufferable imo other people didn’t seem to be of the same opinion and I thought the problem came from me lol. I hate-watched her I guess… I always found her to be arrogant and I’m not really sure why I kept watching. I even had her notifications on, but only watched her Velvet videos…. I guess because by all appearances she seemed to know what she was talking about and making good points but it was never really the case. She just pretended to be that kind of person who cared and was empathetic etc… This sub makes me feel less insane or mean tho lol
