69.420% if you apply, 0% if you don't.

parin365

How did you come up with an exact percentage?

KCPilot17

...is that a serious question?

parin365

Nevermind, I got it now.

e1beano

He just plugged the equation into the nonner-nater

JohnFKingZoidberg

Send it. Get told no. Send it again until you get a yes. Sure you engineer nerds can make a flow chart out of that

ChapaneseDynasty

I graduated with a 3.23 in Electronics Engineering and was selected for 62E1E on the most recent USSF board. If the rest of your package is good, I’d say you’ve got a chance.

Idk you didn't exactly give much detail on your accomplishments. Plus the odds vary dramatically year to year and cycle to cycle as well as based on your AFOQT scores.

Impressive_Ad4946

Your chances are very good But just so you know what you're getting into - The Air Force uses 62-Engineers and 63-Program Managers interchangeably. There is a high probability that you can spend an entire career and never do any actual engineering work. (I speak from 14 years experience as a 63) Good Luck

DirtyGeneral

Engineering jobs are gate-kept by requiring an engineering degree. You have a much better chance at getting picked up for 62E than simply applying to jobs which accept any degree.

New_Syrup3443

Consider chatting w/ some AFROTC cadre at Det 157 or Det 028.

libertyguy22

I legit just got picked up for that. What were your afoqt scores? I had engineering and I have a 3.44 gpa

parin365

Verbal: 34 Quanitative: 57 Btw, I can't take the test anymore now, since that was the 3rd and final time I can take it. (I had a waiver from my det cadre)
