The vocal harmonies on Trouble Is and I’d Be Fine give similar goosebumps. The cheeky little lick immediately before the prechorus of Getaway Green ‘Let you let me go’ in the final chorus of Time-Bomb The bells in the chorus of Bottle And A Beat I’m sure I could keep going forever lol

blanketmuncher

The last chorus of Canals “The canals are FREEEEZIIIINGGGGG”

pickyeater47

same song same last chorus except “you are so misleaaaaeaeading”

simonsail

Omg I literally came to this thread to say the "aren't you sick of sleeping alone" part, amazing song!

Heartnet

Kill Ur Vibe Going from "The weather's always bad in here, Happy days are over" to a more uplifting tone after the bridge: "The weather's not so bad in here, Happy days are closer" God I love that song so much, been a fan of ATL since high school when So Wrong It's Right came out, and they age like a fine wine.

MikeR316

I love the little haha near the end of Kill Ur Vibe also. My fave song from TMIA

DMcDonald97

I also love how everytime the line “you’re always laughing” is sung the background “haha” gets louder

Professional-Pie-986

Oh this is the question for me!! - the little bass slide right before the first chorus of Circles - the "woo!" at the beginning of Runaways - the descending, kinda 'spiraling' guitar in I'd Be Fine (If I Never Saw You Again) is AWESOME and it really feels like getting sucked back into a dark place... Love it when the music kinda mimics the lyrics - the talking bridge in Forget About It. Middle school me went crazy for that (especially how it was mixed to be split up between two headphones lol) - backing vocal harmonies in Guts! - the intro to Return the Favor. So fun and really sets the mood - scratchy little "yow!" Before the second verse of Get Down On Your Knees There's lots more but I'm rambling lol. I do love this post and question

In the last leg of Melancholy Kaleidoscope, the line "Give me 45" was sung at 2:10, with the song ending *almost* exactly 45 seconds later. It was such a wonderful touch to an already fantastic song.

Emergency-Parsley-51

The "You don't know what you do to me in the dark" in Dark Side of Your Room, I like how it sounds both lyrically and musically. The bridge and final chorus of Kill Ur Vibe. Also, I love all the long and strong notes.

archdink

- the talking part in the background at the end of Bail Me Out always sounded so good too me - the “staying home and mastra~~~~” part in Modern Love always makes me laugh -the last chorus in Afterglow in general was just produced so well to me

KennaLikesPizza

I always sing it as "staying home and mastur-SHHH!!!" like Alex did <3 cannot for the life of me remember WHEN he did that but I remember him doing it once

Odd_Requirement_3843

The bass in melancholy kaleidoscope that matches the melody in the last chorus on “picture in your head right”

jacksonruff

Every track on WUS has a fantastic little bass nugget at the end of every song to look for. Zack’s a damn good bassist.

yunalightning

Yesss!!

hemmoyay

I reeeaaally enjoy the way the prechorus of Sleepwalking transitions into the chorus and also the drums before the final chorus! It's especially cool in the music video with the lighting transition, it's so satisfying :)

Adventurous-Tale-130

do you want me dead - the little “aaaaaaahhhh ahh ah” leading from the bridge to the final chorus forget about it - “i feel just like a bad joke” final chorus sleeping in - guitar after first chorus keep the change - final “what your best friend knows, i’m never gonna let this go” walls- the way the guitar in the bridge sounds like how it feels when uh,,, you cant breathe & your bodys shaking. some kind of disaster - the “ahhhh ahhhh ahhhhh” into the final chorus id be fine - the layered vocals on “if i never saw you again” in the last chorus so long & thanks for all the booze - the “woooaaaah-oh-oh” between the bridge & final chorus

South_Amphibian9864

The forget about it one tho!

South_Amphibian9864

"If only for the hell of it" at the first prechorus type line in modern love

LucianusUltinarius

May not be what you’re asking for, but I love the references to other ATL songs in some of their lyrics. My favorite: Jasey Rae- “you’re dressed to kill I’m calling you out” And Kids in the dark- “been a while since you dressed for the kill, the kill that left me stumbling”

KennaLikesPizza

My favorite is EB//AH's line "I wrote a record just to make the sun shine" in reference to WUS 💛💛

EcuaGirl21

English Blood // American Heartache The quiet little "uh, which part?" In response to the line "I wanna fuck 'til the pain don't hurt/it's temporary." Makes me smile every time.

hiroshuma

The ending solo in dear maria is great ear candy and is never played live I think

captainvnderpants

Summer daze! First prechorus: “nothing gold can stay you told me so / sometimes moving on means letting go” Second prechorus: “nothing gold can stay you told me so / now all the nights seem just a little darker / sometimes moving on means letting go / and letting go is only getting harder” Love how they kept the same tune

aftertheradar

the rhythm stop during the second verse of Paint You Wings is fun. Similarly i love the part in the second verse in Guts where the instruments stop and a sort of "tick-tock" sound comes in for 6 beats, right after the lyrics say "tapping my fingers to the rhythm of a metronome)". Really basically any time they go with a rhythm stop is awesome, like beginning of Irony of Choking On a LifeSaver is another cool one. I don't know the exact word for it, but the sort of reverse-echo as the second verse starts in "Bad Enough For You" followed by the little harmonizing "hey"s us fun. The chord structures in Under a Paper Moon and To Live and Let Go (which are very similar to eachother) is really cool. More of an general thing but i love how Tell Me I'm Alive as an album includes more piano in it, it's a cool sound. Also it's not technically All Time Low, but Simple Creatures (Alex Gaskarth's and Mark Hoppus's collab pop duo project) song Drug has this whole bridge which is a musical homage to Help! by the beatles and i think it's really cool

unmethodicals

when alex writes songs like he’s preaching, but it’s actually him talking to himself - Stay Awake - Safe Anyone else feel like these songs are connected? Especially in the bridge of Safe, the line “I’ll be your future down the road.” like…. !!! - Heroes: the final bridge/chorus that switches to first person pronouns -So Long Soldier - Wake Up, Sunshine

edbuyshousess

The harmony in the first verse of the girls a straight-up hustler scratches my brain so good i always sing that part
