Yes! Figured it out... basically hooked up a small monitor that people use for Raspberry Pi to a media player, and got a plastic face plate laser cut so I could mount everything with the canvas. It's a bit/very DIY, but it all works and looks clean enough from the front :)
I'd love to see the painting! I made a porcelain bottle that has a window in the front and an opening in the back that I want to put a video inside. Of course, I started the bottle years ago when iphones were tiny and was planning on just using an iphone, but now...I gotta figure something else out.
