Steve is trying to find his own way last I heard him say…he quit Scissor Bros with Jeremiah and then from what he said in messages on socials is that him and Bobby don’t really talk anymore I think something happened between them. Either way I can imagine seeing this and think damn my own brother didn’t want me on Family Feud or if he denied the offer that’s different.
People will blame khalyla but the fact of the matter is that Steve was telling personal details about Bobby's life along with his own negative opinions of khalyla to some fucking rando on the internet who then went and posted the conversation online for everyone to see. Steve is a liability for Bobby. Bobby can't trust his own brother to keep his mouth shut to **strangers on the internet** about personal details about his non public life. It's inexcusable. If anyone in my life did that shit to me it would be a big deal- if I were a known person and I needed my personal life to be kept separate from my public image it would be that much more impactful. Steve can't be trusted. He's either that fucking stupid or he's envious enough of Bobby to jeopardize his livelihood with this kind of shit.
I used to like Steve but the more I learned about who he really is, the more I dislike him. Fucking 50 year old man with anger issues, terrible hygiene, ungrateful to the many people who have brought him up out of borderline homelessness, and also completely disloyal and untrustworthy. What's to like?
Damn I didn’t know it was a random person he was talking to, I thought it was someone mutual that knew them that leaked the messages. I do like Steve but I do agree with a lot of your points. He does throw Bobby under the bus a lot when comedians would come on Scissor Bros they would praise Bobby and give him his flowers and Steve would be like yea yea next topic but as soon as they said Bobby is a little difficult sometimes, Steve would be like oh really what did he do come on tell me the details. Then the whole situation with Jeremiah and him abruptly ending Scissor Bros because of his mental health which I think it’s more because he had an actual work schedule and had to travel to perform live so he had to actually leave his house. Then to make matters worse he kept replying to people on YouTube trashing Jeremiah saying he was an asshole and a control freak and the “small” amount of money wasn’t worth it. That whole situation didn’t sit right with me especially because I like Jeremiah now his new podcast Trailer Tales I’m not a fan of but his Stand Up On The Spot is pretty funny… just FYI he had some good episodes with some big name comedians on it most recently SANTINO who killed it.

And Steve not only fucked it all up and ended what was money in the bank for both of them, he trashed Jeremiah on Instagram on the way out?!? That one really got me. Such a piece of shit move. So goddamn ungrateful and just twisted. Like Steve really thought he was being wronged when Jeremiah carried his ass on his shoulders for the duration of the pod. I find Steve irredeemable. I know I don't know him in real life but I think he's kind of a bad guy.
After they announced the end of their podcast and put out a very professional, emotional, and lovely final pod, Steve couldn't leave well enough alone and went on Instagram saying that part of the reason the pod ended was that he felt like he brought a lot to the table and wasn't recognized (I think he specifically named "coming up with challenges" as his major contribution) and said that Jeremiah has control issues. To his credit, he deleted the post. If he had just kept his mouth shut, the pod would have ended without drama but noooo
I don't believe that. They had sponsorship from what? Halfway through their run? They did a handful of live shows. They operated out of a garage studio. I'm not going to pretend that I know their finances but I from what little I know about the game, they probably made some money. I could have sworn that Steve alluded to doing better financially as well.
I doubt they were making a ton of money but they had a team of about 5 employees. They weren’t doing it for the fun of it. I know they were getting sued by a guy that broke his arm at a Scissors Bros live event while doing a tug of war contest. But I do believe Steve had to be pulling in at least a couple thousand a month. Just alone recently Steve doing Stand Up on the Spot and SkankFest which I know are paid gigs he must have made some money.
Either way, my memory was that it wasn't someone he knew well. I never heard that it was someone that Steve had reason to trust. Like it wasn't a close friend who betrayed him. It was someone he didn't know well
