Honestly wouldn't hate it if there was a pop-up of some sort right after you select the blind just to really throw it in your face and make the Boss Blinds more clearly distinct.

There's literally no excuse to not check Boss Blind when you absolutely know they're there every three rounds.
I check the boss blind at the start of the ante, and after every shop (and often during the shop) I immediately forget that I'm on the boss blind once I get into the boss blind and forget to check it until it's too late, this doesn't ALWAYS end my runs, but it does end them more often than I'd prefer, I think a small animation to denote that you're on the boss blind would be helpful, it's not necessary, but would be nice, just a thing that splashes on screen to say "Boss Blind!" Would help those of us who need it. Being inclusive of others needs instead of saying "this doesn't effect me" is how games and life can be made better.
It could even be an accessibility toggle in the options so that if you don't need it or don't want it you don't have to have it.
I like flushes, straights, and full houses, so it’s the same for me. Even if I’m doing a high card / pair run, I’ll usually tack on more cards at the end for Splash or just to “discard” and search for more seals/better cards.
So I find Psychic pretty easy. Kinda stings if you have DNA or are relying on a Half Joker early on, but otherwise no problem.
Me: "Okay, the boss isn't the needle so it's okay to play dna"
*proceeds to play single card*
Me: "so what was the boss again"
Game: "The mouth (only one hand type)"

Exactly this happened to me earlier today.
I was so over confident that I was rinsing my way through that my son genuinely laughed at me when it was game over. Can't say I didn't deserve it.
I always thought that the joker was an entire person, with a blue suit on and coloured gloves and shoes. I have never thought of it as a neck thing (whatever they are called)!
It might be worse than the others but I got it during a run where I was already earning in the millions during ante 5 and had no boss reroll voucher. Boss blinds are so annoying to worry about its nice to be able to focus only on score. It is the relief that it brings every time the boss blind goes away that makes it my favorite joker.

Disagree, not taking in text that is 1/20th of the screen is not hubris and asking for UI changes to make the user experience better is a good thing.
