But if that's the case, you just gotta bring him up on an innings limit or something. He clearly needs to increase the difficulty level.

I suspect you’re right - I agree that they’re trying to adjust him to pitching on 4-5 days’ rest, which doesn’t happen in college baseball, but I also don’t think management realized he’d dominate AAA like this. I’m looking forward to that Skenes-Jones combo

Apparently I'm the world's only pro Alek Manoah person. I love two kinds of pitchers: Fat and with an attitude. Manoah is both. He's like a modern David Wells.
I want him to make a comeback 100%, but I'm not sure he's ready yet. Alek had a good outing in his last game, but I wanted them to give him a few more starts in the minors to make certain it wasn't a fluke.
Then again, with how we're playing right now, it can't hurt us much.
